Johnstone's 304110 Vinyl Silk Emulsion - Magnolia,2.5

Excellent paint, went on so well to the walls and left a great finish and a lovely colour. One tin did a whole bedroom so I’m very happy with value for money. It was so easy to apply and 2 coats were applied to leave an excellent finish. It also dried very quickly too, within 2 hours which was great and meant we could apply the second coat quickly. Highly recommend.

This is our go to brand for any white painting. This time I bought this to freshen up walls and woodwork and was really impressed with the finish. The paint goes on smoothly and gives a clean, bright white without looking thin or patchy. Coverage was better than expected and it dried evenly with a nice soft sheen that’s easy to wipe clean. It didn’t have an overpowering smell either, which was a bonus when painting indoors. Pros: • Good coverage and consistency • Smooth, even silk finish • Bright white without looking harsh • Easy to clean once dry Cons: • Needs a decent stir before use, especially if it’s been stored Overall, this is a reliable, good-quality emulsion and great value for money.

I do like the colour of Johnston’s Paint brand it looks soft, neutral beige or off-white shade Without being too dark. The finish is matt which helps hide wall imperfections and creates a smooth, even appearance under indoor lighting. When I First put this colour on few years ago, I did not get this finish, it was rushed the first time I did it and so this time I properly applied this paint neater than few years ago. I am unsure how many coats you will need but I think 3 coats will do the job. It seems to have good opacity. Overall quite happy with the quality of the product but does tend to dry a little too quickly when you have the paint out in a paint tray.

Wow, I'm love this paint, I have recently been buying this name brand as I am finding it great on kitchen cupboard,"wooden". But that was amatt paint and different colour and easily to manipulated with wire wool buffing or sanding . I this colour is a lot richer vibrant than expected just but I am in a north facing room. In a small terraced house. Really love the vibrancy great for hanging multiple picture s on wall. I am a artist so might not suit everyone but I love the feng shui practices so try to stick to certain colours depending on direction of room. Ie north south east and west. Will defo.buy again. I can't stop looking at the paint gives a country cottage feel and I have used it on rough sawn timber on a stud wall as well.Gives is the room character and feel of being by the sea in Whitby. Love it thank you remember the colour will change depending on the direction you are facing. It doesn't feel cool to me.

Incredibly high‑quality paint and genuinely easy to work with. It covered my white artexed ceiling in a single coat — I’ve never used a paint that managed that before. I painted the ceiling black for my little home‑cinema room with a projector, and it looks fantastic. What really surprised me is the value: this paint costs less than half the price of anything comparable in B&Q, even their own brand, yet the quality is miles better. An absolute standout product.

Want a budget paint that does the job? This paint worked well on a new dry wall without using a primer. Even though it soaked it up, only 3 coats were needed on that wall. I used 2 coats on the rest of the room and it looks fresh and new. It didn't even need stirring when I opened it, but I gave it a stir anyway. It was more than enough paint for a roughly 16m square room with a large window. With the windows open, it dried in 2 hours and cleaning the brush and roller were quick and easy. The paint arrived well packaged in eco paper packaging and padding. I'm impressed.

Really happy with the paint, fairly thick and went on wall well. I was covering a white wall so needed two coats. Nice sheen to it but did realise I should have bought matte finish as my wall is a bit lumpy and the sheen highlighted it. Ended up putting a decal of pink and white blossom on the bumpy bits, worked out ok. It was easy to clean brushes after painting. Dried quickly too.

I do like Johnson’s paint, it goes on nicely and dries pretty fast too. Good coverage and great colours.
