I initially bought this set for my son who could not stop talking about how wonderful they were. So, I decided to buy a set for myself. I am so glad I did. These knives are absolutely amazing and the best knife set I have ever owned. I have bought more expensive and high end sets in the past and within a year those knives all seemed to go dull and I was never able to get them sharp again even using the sharpening tool that came with them. These knives are extremely SHARP and cut through food including tomatoes effortlessly. And, the pricepoint on these is great. I also love that the knife block is much smaller than my past sets so it takes up less space on the counter and they look very stylish in my kitchen too.

These knives are amazing! I can not express how easily they slice! They cut through a raw potato effortlessly. Although I have only had them for a short time, I am very impressed with the quality for the price. My roommate is buying a set for her mom now. She likes the design.

Waited a few months before writing a review and I can now say that I love these knives. Super sharp and somehow feels like it was engineered to be a bit lighter than other knives but still has a substantial feel to them. The true test will be how long before it will need sharpening but so far it's outdone other knife sets that I've owned to include the small fortune Cutco knives that I don't bother using anymore. Great set and value!
