Highly recommend! This is VERY sturdy and well-made. We made a fire pit, and this fits over it perfectly. I paid for this item and am not being paid or bribed for my review. This is my true opinion.

We have used this at least a half dozen times and it works very well. I love that I can move the grate easily to adjust the flames underneath. We haven’t moved it out of the rain or snow and it has held up really nice. Money well spent!

I had an old patio/balcony table where the table top itself rotted out. I was about to throw it away, but then started looking for replacement table tops. Very expensive. After several creative searches I stumbled upon something completely unrelated but suitable. This grate was perfect for my goal. I simply didn't install the 2 handles (they do not come attached; they come separate in a bag with screws to attach). I was glad they weren't already permanently attached! I went to Ace and got 8 screws to bolt the grate onto the table stand. Success!

This does a good job on my home made fire pit and is the perfect size. I just wish is was a finer grid so it would trap more particles from flying away.

Is functional but not heavy duty. I have only had this for a month and have used it over my fire pit four times so far. The hinge that allows for you to raise only half at a time is a very nice feature and works well. When the fire starts to heat up one side of the grate lifts in the air and I haven't come anywhere close to the 572 degrees top limit for this grate. The grating itself is thin and spot welded to the frame so time will tell how it holds up. If your just going to use it to cover the fire pit or cook a few items on it you should be just fine.

This is a sturdy fire pit grate that is 36 inch in diameter. The best thing about this grate is that it can open in half while over the fire pit. Keep in mind that there r 2 handles (you assemble) that allows u to do so but will be hot. I found that the handles needed washers which were not included, to keep the handles in place.

Not sturdy at all. Warped so will not sit flat on our BBQ pit. Far too heavy to return :(
