I recently purchased the Elite Gourmet ECT5322 Long Slot 4 Slice Toaster, and it’s been a great addition to my kitchen! Here’s what I love about it: Design and Size: The long slots are perfect for toasting not only regular bread slices but also larger items like bagels, artisanal bread, and even Texas toast. The sleek, compact design fits nicely on my countertop without taking up too much space, making it a great choice for kitchens with limited counter area. Performance: This toaster works quickly and efficiently. It has seven shade settings, allowing you to get your toast just how you like it — from lightly golden to perfectly crispy. The toast comes out evenly toasted every time, which is something I really appreciate. Ease of Use: The controls are straightforward and easy to understand. The push-button function for bagels and defrosting is a nice touch, and the toaster does a great job of toasting bagels evenly on the cut side. The extra-lift lever makes it easy to get smaller items out without burning your fingers, which is a big plus for me. Cleaning: The crumb tray is easy to remove and clean, which makes maintenance a breeze. After several uses, there hasn’t been any buildup, and it’s great to know I can keep it tidy without any hassle.

I absolutely love this toaster. It’s sleek. It fits up to 4 slices of regular bread or it fits longer slices of artisan bread. It works really well and it even comes with these very specific instructions. It has the pull out tray for easy cleaning (and it’s not the kind that’s hard to pull in or out). I would highly recommend running the toaster 3-4 times on the hottest setting though before putting toast in. It has a very plastic smell the first few times of usage. The toast comes out perfect every time, especially if you follow the instructions. The dials and buttons are good size and the timer is legible and easy to use as well. The lever is large enough to not fumble with and feels pretty sturdy, even with little kids smashing it down. Good buy for a good price.

Good toaster except that I've had mine since July of 2024, and it has never toasted the bread on both sides. I should have returned it, but I thought I just didn't know what setting to put it on, but on checking this page I found it was supposed to toast on both sides at the same time. Other than that, it makes good toast and has worked well.

Very nice toaster! Works very well and is very attractive looking on my counter

One year update: I have had this toaster for a year now and use it regularly. My impression has only improved with use. It still toasts well though sometimes one side is a little darker than the other but that could be moisture difference in the bread. What I didn't know I needed until I started using it was the top rack toasting feature (see pic). This is great for warming a croissant or lightly toasting a bun for a burger or sandwich. I use that feature all the time and wouldn't want a toaster without it now. So for both longevity (a year is pretty good for a toaster in my past experience) and features, I highly recommend this model (silver and black with digital countdown display).

I wanted to love this because I needed a toaster that had long enough slots for the bigger namebrand bread at the grocery stores that we love. We've tried so many toasters that say their slots for the bread are 5 1/2 inches but our bread never fit and you have to smash it down in. This toaster will hold all kinds of bread including those long sourdough slices from those round loaves however I don't like the way it toasts. It definitely does not toast evenly. The bread fits all the way down in when you push down the handle but a lot of times the tip top of each slice isn't toasted. I've noticed this once in a while on frozen waffles also. The picture I shared obviously shows that it doesn't toast evenly in different parts of the slot but at least this time it got the tip tops of the waffle. Also I find it hard to quickly push cancel. You have to be slow down and aim for the center for the cancel button to engage.I do love the countdown timer and the landscape model, it saves a lot of counter prep space.. I will stick with this and hopefully learn its quirks and grow to love it.

Like the look and works great

I have gone through many toasters that say they fit wide items like bagels, but items fit too snug & issues getting item out in one piece. This toaster works like a charm, absolutely no complains.
