High quality item. Would recommend to others.

I probably should have bought a lighter rated version since this one is quite heavy (that's not a bad thing given its purpose). But compared to other INDUSTRIAL brands the cost differential is so significant that this was a HIGHLY attractive item. It "feels" as robust as the American brands I have used in the past. I have several old 6 ton ratchet hoists and now at my older age I can barely lift them. This is one of those tools that can empower the the DIY individual if used as designed and with all due care. Think about how you use it BEFORE you use it.

This is a must for any heavy lifting. This is fairly easy to use. Durability is not an issue. As with any Hoist, safety is paramount when using this piece of equipment.

Loved this hoist! Its very basic and simple to use. The only thing I have issues with is it's very easy to toggle the fwd/rvrs switch while using it so I had to set up a secondary rope with a repel device for safety.

It was more heavy duty than expected

Like another customer I'm frustrated with cheaply made come a longs and figured a chain based device would work much better. I've had experience with engine hoists and A Frames and know what to expect. But man this bad boy is heavy! I intend to use it to direct large tree fall after chainsaw cut. Look out! I'll let you know how it goes. Definitely heavy duty. Don't remember other chain come alongs weighing so much. But happy to have the functionality hopefully accompanied by durability. USA made would easily be over $500 purchase price.
