Very good work tool! I am super satisfaction!

Great tool, very helpful for measuring distance. Sometimes it is difficult to measure an outside wall of a house, but I get along with some tricks.

A favor: facilidad de uso, la pila tiene muy buena duración, aproximadamente 8 hrs, en exterior, aun con luz solar intensa, el alcance de medición que pude comprobar es de 120.00 mts., la cámara es de gran ayuda. En contra: el teclado no se retro ilumina, y en el caso de trabajar en ambientes con poca iluminacion sería útil, el método de pitagoras, aún no entiendo como analiza las medidas, no es claro. La cámara y la pantalla podrían ser mejoradas,(siendo una marca que también fabrica lentes para cámaras y otros equipos), el tripie podría incorporar un aditamento para una plomada,(util para referenciar un punto debajo del equipo). Lo molesto: nunca se menciona que el software adicional de apoyo a la toma de dimensiones, no es compatible con el equipo (D810), en la funciones de smart room y P2P.

Intento devolverlo, pero no hay manera de que vengan a buscarlo. No me vale para lo que quiero. Necesito el d910.cuando lo recojan,,,algún día y lo reembolse comprar el otro. Lo he probado y va de fábula.

Excellent Product and Pro Kit. Everything you need. The only thing you want to make sure of with this model is IF you need to generate a DXF file, this level of instrument does not that. Unfortunately, I didn't find out until I order this one, so returned it and reordered the S910 which does this file along with "point to point" distances and does up to 30 "point to point" measurements and saves 20 DXF files!

I don't trust new equipment until I've verified its reliability, precision and accuracy thoroughly. I've had enough chances to test this out and found it to exceed any expectation that I had. It's more useful than I expected. I originally bought it for measuring manhole depths, offsets to trees and features within restricted access such as fenced yards and busy roadways. I give it 5 stars for its performance. The camera aiming is exceptionally useful outdoors where it's hard to see the laser dot. The bad: When you pay $850 for a something like this, you'd expect that the case would have something more secure than a half inch of weak Velcro to hold the belt strap. It seems like there are several better options including a closed belt strap without the Velcro. I've nearly lost this thing a couple of times because it was barely hanging by the strap. The touch screen is very similar to a smartphone. It's hard to carry this thing without accidentally initiating some application. The alternative is to power down which takes a long press on the Clear/Off button. Then you need to power back up. It takes a few seconds. I prefer to leave it on and just be ready to hit clear a few times to get back to the home screen. Overall, I would chose this unit over anything else that I'm familiar with. It's worth the money.
