Easy to fix
Fits on cane easily. Quite secure, doesn’t slip around. Flips out and you can hang onto table edge. It does just balance itself. The cane swings around and can get easily knocked off the edge but it is a useful gadget.

Effective, secure (-ish), & even fits stouter sticks
Far, far better than the triangular ones. It actually fits securely onto a standard walking stick, and doesn't pop off. I've even fitted one successfully onto a stout wooden pole carved for me by a neighbour. Only had it a few days, do don't know how durable it will be - but at present it seems really good. My mother constantly drops her stick onto the dog - but not since I fitted one of these for her. And when at the supermarket till, my pole usually attacks other customers as they pass by; not this week, though! It has a very strong metal spring round the clip, so you may need help fitting it. And I wasn't sure it would even go round my rather stout pole at all - but it does; and with care it didn't even damage the wood as I put it on, either! It's slightly unstable (hence only 4 stars), as the weight of the stick, if it is hanging rather than propped up, over-stretches the spring; the tip of the flap turns up, and the non-slip under-surface is consequently not in contact with the surface of the table / etc. However, I've rectified this by adding an elastic band to the end of the flap, and the elastic then becomes the non-slip part. (It also stops the flap from tapping irritatingly against my pole as I walk.) Overall, I would recommend this, especially if you have a stick with a tendency to make a break for freedom! UPDATE 20 November Came home from walking the dog ... and the cane rest had not returned with us 😟 . It must have popped off somewhere, unnoticed. I see I am not the only reviewer to have had this experience ... Far too expensive to replace and risk losing again - it has worked out at around £1.50 per week for occasional use 😭 !!!

Works really well
Good for resting walking sticks on tables. It doesn't clamp or stick on - the reflective strip sits on top of the table and counterbalances the stick.

Ideal product for walking sticks
Excellent product. It fits easily on a walking stick, and the flap opens to hold it onto a table, so that the stick does not keep falling over.

For a walking stick
Probably best for a walking stick as a crutch is too thick. Works well keeping a stick on a table near you rather than propping it up against a chair/table edge. I however thought it could be used with my crutch but the clip isn’t flexible enough to attach it.

This cane holder is made very well and so easy to place on the cane.

Have a few of these and even bought for others. Saves stick falling.

The spring is stronger than needed, so if your can isn't heavy enough (like a light-weight hollow one), it might actually push it off of the table. Other than that, pretty good.

Easily clips on and holds in place.
