Nude Matte Shadow

Oh wow, where do I start with this eye shadow, one word "AMAZING" If you are like me and have been searching the whole world for a perfect transitional crease color that compliments any color, then girl here it is!!!!! it is that perfect 'MATTE" neutral brown that compliments any skin tone and blends easily. There is no shimmer what so ever in this eye shadow, which I love because some of us do not want to shimmer in the crease area if you know what I mean, you will just love this eye shadow, a lot of people use this as a mac dupe, you can type this name of the eye shadow on youtube and there is videos where they tell you what mac color they replace with blame it on midnight. I have to warn you, if you purchase this and apply it only once, and see how good it looks, you will be HOOKED!!!!!!!

I use this terracotta colored eyeshadow as a base color, meaning it's the first coat of eyeshadow I apply over my primer. Kind of like 'liquid white', but for eyelids rather than for canvas. It's ok, the color is a tad darker than my natural skin tone, but blends really well with my foundation, so it's a seamless transition between my eye area and the rest of my face when I do full 'nude' make up. Most importantly, it plays well with other makeup, which is great when I am doing blending or smokey eye art. Colors lay on top easily without sliding around and it mixes well with other shadows when I blend. Also, the price is ok. I will repurchase again when I run low. Greatest of all is that I don't need to 'paint' this shadow on, I merely sweep it on with a fluffy brush and the color sticks to my lids effortlessly (no tugging or cakey texture).

Since the last eye shadow I used to fill in my brows got discontinued I had to find a replacement, and this color was pretty close to it. It's cooler toned so it's nice for dark brown eyebrows and doesn't make them look too light or red. Pigmentation is pretty good too, not very light and not very heavy, which for brows is good.

Purchased NYX Cosmetics Nude Matte Eye Shadow Covet because I was so BORED with neutrals. This didn't disappoint. This color is not an "80's" green, but rather a soft and elegant color that makes my own eye color pop. Blends easily, seems to stay on as long as the other colors I'm using (L'Oreal, Clinique, Maybelline, Revlon, etc.)

I love the product but it came broken like loose powder, returned it and it was replaced the same way.

This powder is way too powdery. After using on upper lids, I realized that lower lids, nose and cheeks were covered with green powder so I had to use makeup brush to brush off nose, face & lower lids. I'll use it but wouldn't buy again. The only plus is matte finish which is sometimes hard to find.
