Yes, these do fit my 5 cup basket. Thank God my husband is smarter than the people at Mr. Coffee. They wanted me to buy a whole new coffee pot. Are you kidding? They're nuts! For the price of this tiny item, my coffee pot works like new. In our economy, we simply can't afford to keep throwing out items just because of inconvenience. It took hubby all of 45 seconds to install this onto the filter basket.

I’m sure this product works for the correct coffee pot but do NOT buy this to replace with the drew Barrymore beautiful coffee pot. Because the black piece is 0.31 cm it was too big to slide in and out of the filter basket. If you have this coffee pot make sure that the little black piece is 0.26 cm so it will work!!

They were made exactly like the original however this pair was the wrong size. I believe that was my fault not the fault of the vendor. So because they were exact duplicates of the original with the exception of being the wrong size I gave them five stars assuming they would work right had I would have the right thing
