I heard diaper spatulas weren’t necessary, and hesitated spending extra on this “aesthetically pleasing” one. I totally bought it because of that and because I saw a review that talked about how it was firm but pliable enough so it can spread the diaper cream easily. It’s been great and one of the best purchases for a newborn. Diaper changes are already messy and this is one extra thing to make them a little cleaner. I started to use this by applying cream directly to baby but changed and I’m now applying it to the diaper instead. Much cleaner and easy to do. Definitely recommend.

I use this with every diaper change!! Cleans super easily and is soft to the touch. I would highly recommend this to any parent!

Great to spread cream on

So convenient to keep your hands clean during diaper changes! As a FTM you don’t fully realize how messy diaper changes can get, and how hard it is to wash hands all the time. My husband and I use a mixture of disposable nitrile gloves and spatula for messy blowouts and applying rash cream. Ultimately cheaper long term than gloves. Looked at several cheaper options online but all had complaints about how thin, cheap the plastic is or how unstable the handle is. Spending a little bit more for this higher quality product was so worth it!

I didn’t buy one of these until my second kid and I recommend it to any new parents! If you use a tub of diaper cream, this is perfect to grab a bit and slather it on your little one’s bum! No mess, no fuss, you just stick it back up with the suction cup on the bottom. Genius!

I bought this to apply AKT Deodorant Balm also bought on Amazon. It works so well - much better than the metal AKT Gua Sha Inspired Deodorant Balm Applicator. I found the metal one uncomfortable and less effective. Bonus that this one is less expensive too.
