Worked perfect for my 2002 Suzuki JR50R pit bike build! I bought these thinking they may work out, may have to do some grinding but it was a perfect bolt up fit, all I had to do was adjust my chain accordingly because these add a couple of inches.

I took one for the team and ordered this despite the F grade on Fakespot because it's the cheapest option at this length. The seller should really just let the product sell itself. It's not that bad. I took some measurements that I really would've liked to have known before buying. The spring inner diameter is about 1.3", the OD is about 1.8", so a wire diameter of 0.25". The overall uncompressed length of the spring is 6.75", and it comes preloaded to about 5.4" with the preload flange on the lowest setting. If you take a similar spring from McMaster, this means the spring rate is about 115lbs/in, so it's preloaded to about half of its claimed rated force of 350lbs. The similar spring on McMaster is actually 6" and 1.438" ID/1.938" OD, so it claims a rating of 305lbs max. Since that one is 0.75" shorter, that probably accounts for the difference in max load, so I think the seller's telling the truth on that one. Of course, this means the spring is extremely heavy for something like a small go-kart that weighs maybe 90lbs with a 35-50lb kid on it, so I'm replacing the springs. I'm guessing this product is originally intended for frame suspension on a bicycle where you have a huge amount of leverage on it. The shock absorber itself seems okay. The eyes are made of some short steel tubing expanded on the ends with a rubber grommet and a smaller zinc-coated steel bushing inside the rubber. There's a rubber bumper on the shaft to take some of the hit if you bottom them out. It wasn't completely horrible to get the spring off - just stick a 14mm wrench through the spring so you can hold the jam nut still while you use a screwdriver through the eye to rotate it off - be careful when you reach the end, because there's about 90lbs of spring force ready to launch as soon as the eye is off the threaded end of the piston! It won't take your arm off, but make sure no small children are wandering around in front of it. So, in summary: Spring ID: 1.3" Spring OD: 1.8" Spring wire diameter: 0.25" Spring rate: ~115lbs/in Spring length (uncompressed): 6.75" Installed spring length: 5.4" Preload out of the box: ~150lbs Max load of spring: 350lbs Jam nut wrench size: 14mm Enjoy!
