The costume looks just as good in person as it does in pictures, which was a pleasant surprise. It's not just a mishmash of pirate stereotypes; it actually feels like a lot of thought went into making it look authentic.The size was spot-on for me, which is a relief because I've had my share of online costume orders that didn't fit right. Wearing it, I felt like a proper sea captain ready to lead my crew on a plundering spree . It's pretty well made too, not the kind of costume that falls apart after one night. I've worn it to a couple of parties since, and it's held up great.Another thing I appreciated was how complete the outfit felt. Sometimes you get costumes that are basically just a shirt, and you have to buy all the accessories separately. This one had all the pieces to look the part without needing to spend extra.In short, if you're looking for a pirate costume that'll turn heads and won't fall apart on you, this is the one. It's been a hit at every event I've worn it to, and I'm already looking for an excuse to wear it again.

Fit great. But the hat gets so bent in packaging and almost impossible to straighten out.

Fits to size. It's of a quality that I think could be used for quite a few occasions ( disclaimer I haven't been to the FD party yet ) it just feels and looks good on even ma wench agrees. Arrrrr
