This was a fantastic buy for a carbon fiber tripod. Everything works really well. My only gripe would be I wished the ball head had a lock to release the plate from the ball head. All other ball heads I’ve had (even a cheaper version) had a spring loaded lever to release the camera from the ball head. This one only has a knob that tightens or loosens but you really have to make sure you’re holding onto your camera and lens so that it doesn’t topple off the ball head. Other than that, the tripod will well made, lightweight but sturdy and easy to operate.

Sturdy tripod. This carbon fiber has thicker tubes than the one I own from Neewer, but is still lighter weight than the Manfrotto 190 aluminum tripod. Works great with the mirrorless Canon. Using with a geared head. Black is the color!😎

Build quality: it is sturdy. Functionality: I do not prefer having to tighten and loosen the legs by twisting mechanism. I prefer to extend the legs by flipping the flips. Weight: I wouldn't say its light or heavy. Design: The ball mount design is easy to use and it stays in places.

I needed a lightweight, full-height tripod to carry around with me for walks and location shoots. This is a sturdy tripod that can handle the weight of a DSLR with a 600mm lens. I don't worry about the ballhead not holding. Overall, this tripod does the job. There are two things that I wish were different purely because of my preferences. I wish the legs had toggle/buckle locks rather than screw-down. The toggles are quicker and less prone to collapse. I also wish the bullhead's plate holder had a flip & lock in place mechanism rather than a tightening friction screw. I worry the screw might loosen while moving the tripod and have my camera fall along with a loose plate attachment. So, for the time being, I make double certain that everything is screwed tight and I hold the camera when bouncing the tripod around.

I'm new to photography and an enthusiast — this is my first tripod, and based on everything I researched online, it seemed like the best choice to start with. I've been using it for a month and it's excellent! It's a bit large for most backpacks and probably not ideal for air travel, but for getting around the city it's perfect. It's very stable, and the hook adds extra support when needed. The height is also great — I’m 1.65m tall and I don’t even need to extend it fully for it to be comfortable. 10/10. The only small downside is the BH-30 ball head base; it doesn’t seem to lock in perfectly to the tripod, and it loosens slightly when panning horizontally.

I've only used it once so far so I can't say how long it will last or how much abuse it can take but I can say it is very well built, as sturdy as can be and I would buy it again. Also, the ball head is smooth and works very well. K&F has never disappointed me so far !

Bonjour. Trépied légé et solide. Il support sans problème mon réflex et mon objectif ( 6 Kg l ensemble ). Malgré ma taille, 1,83m , je ne déplie que 2 pieds ce qui le rend très stable. Pour ce produit, le prix est résonnable. Je le recommande.

Ich halte mir das Carbon-Stativ als stabilere Ergänzung meines bisher genutzten, leichten Reisestativs gegönnt. Es ist leicht, Größe und Stabilität reichen für meine Zwecke (in der Regel Landschaft) völlig aus, und mittlerweile bevorzuge ich es auch auf Reisen. Bei der Sport- und Tier-Fotografie habe ich mir für die sehr schweren und langen Brennweiten einen einfachen Gimbel dazu gekauft, da ein Kugelkopf damit überfordert ist. Ich würde mir das Stativ wieder kaufen.
