MANGROOMER PRO Essential Nose and Ear Hair Trimmer

I like this. Being battery powered i worried it wouldn't have enough ass, and the batteries would not last. I was wrong, batteries last many uses over months, and usually cuts nose and ear hairs without pulling them at all! Impressive gadget, glad I have it in my shaving drawer. UPDATE- I have now had this for over a year and ifI clouds give it more than 5 stars I still would! I use it occasionally for nose, ears, brow hairs probably 2-4x a month, wet or dry and it does easy its supposed to every time without issue. Its easy to clean and the battery seems to last... Forever? I think I've only changed it once, and its just one of those generic bulk brand batteries I keep in supply for kids toys and such. Just ordered 3 more to have for gifts for guys in the family and/or friends because when I find something that i think is handy as hell for cheap, I want others to try it too! $10? Maybe ill grab 2 more! :-)

Easy to use and effective

purchased about 1 month ago. these only have like 2 moving parts- and it only uses a single AA battery- so the unit is very sensitive to your supplying a good quality battery. get a good brand name battery. with a good battery- motor is strong, blade cuts clean. hasn't snagged even once in over a dozen uses. good buy for the price.

I originally purchased one of these about 7 years ago, and I was quite happy with it. After 7 years of use, the groomer was still working well, right up until I dropped it on the floor, when it shattered. Since these types of devices rarely are still on the market for so many years, I was shocked to find the very same groomer was still available! There were quite a few trimmers for sale, all quite a bit more expensive than the Mangroomer Pro. For me, this product was the most effective purchase, because I know from experience that it works well, and it cost just a fraction of just about all the others. Great purchase!

the best nose trimmer I had but no longer is made was by Vidal Sasson,, ever since, I cant find one close.. This one seems to have to high a rpm,, it takes a lot of passes to get most of the nose hairs,, really cant see if ears are that well done.. It seems to get hot in use,, cheaply made, and takes "jaws of life" to open box.. price is low enough to try,, for me I will keep on looking and use this until then,,

I'll admit that I was a wary of the Mangroomer at first and almost didn't buy it. The name sounded a bit hokey and with the low price, I thought it might be just a cheap knockoff. But so far it's impressed me as being well built and with a blade that spins fast and cuts cleanly. The result is that it gets the job done quickly and painlessly...no "pulling" the hairs out. Believe it or not, I was also impressed by the instruction manual. Normally, I wouldn't expect much from a 1-page sheet of instructions, but this one is different. It's clear and thoughtfully written, even covering a safety feature of how to inspect the product when you first get it to make sure that the cutting blade looks right and hasn't been somehow damaged in shipping. I figure if they give that kind of attention to small details in the instructions, it's a good sign for the more important features of the product itself.

I've had one of these for over 10 years. So simple to use and so reliable. Takes only one AA battery. My 10 year old MANGROOMER trimmer started becoming dull, the blades, and I searched Amazon in hopes I could still find this same model. Luck have it Amazon still carried this groomer, so I ordered two just to have a backup for 20 years forward. I have paid a lot for more professional nose trimmers and none of then came close to the reliability of this MANGROOMER. Looks cheap but does such great job. And battery powered. Not rechargeable, not corded, simple one AA battery powered. I can believe Amazon still sells this great groomer.

I've purchased Mangroomer several times in the past. Amazon.com never lists me as an Amazon.com purchaser on products I review. I bought Mangroomer every time from Amazon.com. The product worked great in the past. This time I bought two of them this time. They were never used with water and were always store dry. I used them about 3 times a week for short periods of time for nose hair, nothing too heavy. Both stopped working after about 2 months each. I cleaned the contacts and used fresh batteries that worked in other appliances but that didn't work. Mangroomer has not done this in the past. They worked for longer times. Did I just get a bad batch this time? Maybe it's best to order each one separately to assure of getting a good batch.

I had ordered a few of these products and tried them but this one was the best one....light weight but It had enough strength to be durable and worked great when I used it.
