Fermented Cod Liver Oil Liquid - 6 fl. oz. - Cinnamon

I purchased this after extensive research on fish oil for a health /nutrition class. Turns out, pretty much all fish oils on the shelves are rancid. The fermentation process creates natural antioxidants that protect the oil from oxidation and going rancid! Fermented cod liver is the way to go! Great source of Vit A & D and omegas. So many health properties of cod liver oils. I have sharper thinking and keeps my inflammation away! :) You can still taste the fishy oil taste but for the most part, company does a great job masking it so its at least palatable .

Awhile after opening it it seems to lose some of its cinnamon flavor but otherwise it tastes good. You can barely taste the fish. And I am sensitive to that flavor. I am devoted to taking this because a dentist had told me I needed a root canal and after I started taking it (this brand of fermented cod liver oil was highly recommended by a book on healing your teeth) all my pain went away. I have been mostly pain free for about 7 months and did not get my tooth worked on yet. It is still functional in my mouth! I also feel that it helps my heart. Get this stuff. You can squirt it under your tongue with the syringe thingie and drink some water and that’s it. No fishy aftertaste or burps. I am on my 4th bottle now I think and ordered the bigger one, which is plastic BTW and does not come with a syringe so I refilled my glass one with it.

I finally purchased this after hearing about it from the Nourishing traditions cook book. I am breast feeding and my doctor recommended I start taking omega supplements. I orders the cinnamon flavor and was highly skeptical of what the taste would be due to mixed reviews. To my pleasant surprise, the taste is incredibly pleasant, dare I say good and barely fishy. I genuinely wonder if those who don’t like the taste received a rancid bottle, because it’s so mild that I’m considering ordering the unflavored one next. I just shoot it straight into my mouth and don’t even feel the need to wash it down with anything. I also love that the only other ingredient is cinnamon oil and not any artificial flavors or sweeteners. I feel great taking this supplement and crave it everyday. Too soon to say the health benefits for my baby and I, but I have already subscribed to reorder.

According to the Weston A Price Foundation Green Pastures is one of the best cod liver oils available. I have noticed an improvement in my cholesterol levels since I started using it.

I looooove this stuff! Our pediatrician recommended it for our kids to boost their immune systems. We got the cinnamon flavor and it truly masks any type of fishy scent. My kids take it and have no idea it's cod oil. We just tell them it's cinnamon vitamins. This is such a good quality oil and we give it to our 3 kids and still have plenty left.

Very nice

Cinnamon flavor is pretty nice. I do like the flavor, but it's the only flavor I have tried. I was curious of orange, but read bad reviews about it so just went with this one no regrets. Doesn't smell fishy and I only detect a very small fish taste in the background of the cinnamon which goes right away with a swig of water.
