It's raining so I thought I would leave the review I would like to have read before purchasing these cameras. There were negative reviews saying that not all the features were available without a subscription. This is NOT true. Obviously you can't have remote monitored surveillance or cloud storage of recordings. But if you purchase a micro SD card you can have alerts sent to your phone, you can view recordings on the card and you can save important ones to your PC or phone. You can talk through the camera and activate the floodlight or alarm if required. Another review said they couldn't get a 512gb card to work. I used 2 Sandisk 512gb cards and a 256gb card for the C8C lite. They all work fine. The camera irritatingly divides the card into 2 drives and records everything twice! Why, I've no idea. So even a 512gb card only gives 244gb of recordings. I purchased 2 H8X and 1 C8C Lite. I now wished I got 3 H8X's as they are far superior and have the talk, floodlight, controllable light settings and alarms also night recording is in colour. They are fairly easy to set up but bear this in mind. I have Wifi extenders but they don't reach everywhere. I wanted 1 camera connected to an extender and 2 connected via ethernet cables. When you turn the camera on it needs to connect in exactly the way you want to use it. If like I did, you connect to the main router the camera will NEVER connect to anything else, including a plugged in ethernet cable. You have to reset the camera and start the whole setup again. Once done though the picture quality and alerts are brilliant. Wait until they are on offer and they are a cheap good quality cctv system. I paid £69.99 for the H8X.

This EZVIZ outdoor camera was easy to install and set up. It is both Wi-Fi and has a LAN port so can be hardwired into your home network. The EZVIZ app is easy to use . Picture quality and night vision are excellent. Added benifit of a spot light which turns on when motion is detected in selected viewing area at night. Good value . The camera can store on an SD card (slot behind secured water proof cover on device) , content can be played back using the app. You don't need to subscribe to the EZVIZ cloud server service .

Probably the best camera I've bought for reading registration plates as im sick of people damaging my car and running off. If you need proper surveillance where you can identify cars of culprits by their number plates, get this. Only downside aside from glitching sometimes and rotation/pan being a bit slow, these will not work with dvr systems even with parent company hikvision. The zoom feature gets disabled so these have to be used as standalone cctv on ezviz platform. Also wont go beyond 256gb sd card any bigger and it seems to create duplicates of footage and partitions the sd card into 2x257gb volumes which is annoying hence the 4 stars. Ive attached a screenshot of just how clearly it can make out registration plates thanks to optical zoom lens and not that digital zoom crap. On a side note ezviz seem to be sending lower m9dels to the one shown and im also not sure about waterproofing so ive bought rain covers for my cameras. Hopefully they will last a while

cons . you have to use the lowest quality ( standard ) else it keeps saying not enough wifi speed , even on hi def you cannot read a car number plate , extra things come with a subscription , to find things that have happened on the recordings is a pain , pros. easy to set up , you can move the camera with your phone , I suppose you get what you pay for .

Really impressed, I've owned a few EZVIZ cameras and this is definitely the best. My older wired EZVIZ camera was a bit annoying, I had to turn off notifications because the sensor would trigger at everything (including rain, leafs, bugs). Ive had 2 of the wireless ones which were great but only recorded when they spot something and they'd always cut off part of the video. But this one I can't find any faults with. Definitely recommend for the price especially.

I bought this camera as our front door is at the side of our bungalow, so doorbell cameras not suitable. It was easy to install and power from a socket in our kitchen. It can tilt and pan to cover our front garden path, or rear garden if necessary. It can capture stills or movies of events in good quality video. I would recommend it as a good buy for the money.

Après l’avoir utilisé une soirée et une nuit, au petit matin, alors qu’il n’avait pas plu de la nuit, juste un peu d’humidité, il y avaient des gouttelettes d’humidité dans les trois lentilles, Ce qui donne une image flou et non exploitable, ( voir la photo des lentilles) Alors je ne pense pas qu’elle soit IP 67 comme décrit dans l’annonce. Après avoir acheté plusieurs caméras extérieures ezviz, cela ne m’est jamais arrivé. sinon, le système des trois lentilles était une bonne invention. Donc je suis obligé de la retourner en espérant que le vendeur soit compréhensible.
