These WAGO connectors are awesome,very high quality,easy to use and a time and headache saver! They make electrical work very fast and easy! The connection is very strong and the wires cannot and will not be pulled out of them and they are not much bigger than a small wire nut so they can be used in very small areas where there is not much space available. These cost more than the cheap Asian versions but are well worth the money for the far superior quality and safety,these are UL rated as well as safety rated around the world and can be used for permanent wiring purposes and they will pass code upon inspections.The cheap ones will not! Bottom line: I highly recommend these connectors and only this brand ( WAGO ) I do not recommend you try to save money buying the cheaper versions. This is your home and your families safety we are talking about here so do not be cheap,be smart. This is the only brand of this kind of connector I will ever use in my home or any where else!

I've spent years of my life dutifully twisting those little colorful wire nuts. You know the drill: twist, twist, twist... keep twisting... cram it into the box... and then pray you've got a good connection. It's a tradition of hand cramps and uncertainty. Well, tradition is over. These WAGO lever-nuts are pure magic. When I first got them, I almost felt like I was cheating. It's just... so easy. You strip a bit of wire, lift the little orange lever, push the wire in until it stops, and clamp the lever down. That's it. It's done. The connection is solid and secure, and you can see it's in all the way. It's the "click" of the lever that gets you. It's the most satisfying "job done" sound in the entire world of DIY. Click. Done. Move on. I just used these to install some new lights, and what would have been a 20-minute job of fumbling and twisting turned into a 5-minute job of pure efficiency. They're so compact, they fit in a crowded junction box without a fight. I'm pretty sure I heard my old box of wire nuts rattling in fear from the garage. These are one of the best upgrades to my toolbox I've made in years. 10/10, my hands have never been happier.

Great for hard wired ceiling and wall lights that typically have smaller diameter stranded wires that can be difficult to connect to solid 14 or 12 gauge Romex wiring typically found in an outlet box. Whenever I use Wago lever connectors, I always put electrical tape over the levers before pushing the wires into the box. It only takes one little snag of a lever on another wire or the box to disturb the connection. Better to be cautious than risk any mayhem. There is also a “test port” in the center of the Wago connector to verify the connection with a meter. That’s not a feature found on wire nuts. Stranded and solid copper wires are notoriously troublesome to connect with wire nuts. This Wago product holds them both secure despite differences in wire gauge and stranded versus solid wire. Also great for extending wires is a box that are too short. I don’t know how some of the outlets and receptacles I see on jobs were ever connected because the wires are too short. See the photo of the wires coming from the wall box. I used these Wago inline connectors to add 12 inch pigtails to connect a 20 inch “moon” wall scone - see the “moon light” photo. Terrific for quick, easy to remove speaker wire connections as well. The wire grip on the Wago 221’s is as good as a pre-twisted solid wire to wire connection with a wire nut. The small footprint of the 221’s also makes them ideal for tight spots. Great product but don’t use them on aluminum wiring - the copper in the Wago connectors and aluminum wire are incompatible materials. Hope that helps!

本商品は海外版？のようでして、対応範囲がAWG12も入ってまして、日本仕様のWFR-S4だと何故かAWG14が最小範囲なので、バッ直に使った比較的太めのAWG12の配線接続に使うためにこちらを購入してみました 画像の右側に置いたのが本商品で見比べると中身の部品が白い部分になっていて、日本向けだとそこの部分は透明です 外形のサイズは一緒です 肝心の穴の部分のサイズですが、若干本商品のほうが微妙に広い気もします ただ、殆ど変わらないような感じですけど、確かにほんの少しだけ広いようです 自分が調べた限り、接続コネクタでAWG12対応と表記されてるのはこの商品だけでしたので、満足はしています 日本版だと透明になってる部分が白い部分に変わってますが、耐久性や抑えの強さ等の違いまで変わってるかは現時点では分かりません できれば日本向けブリスターパックのように8個等の少量パックがあれば星5点満点のとても良い商品だと思います またこのシリーズでAWG10にも使える大きい径用の接続コネクタや、AWG22や24の細線の接続に使えるような小さい接続コネクタがWAGOから出れば最高だと思いました

These WAGO connectors are brilliant for quick and secure wire splices. So much easier and cleaner than traditional methods, especially in tight spaces or when I am being lazy.
