I’m very impressed with this Rudy smart lock. It looks modern and elegant on the door, and the quality feels solid and reliable. Installation was easier than expected, and once set up, it works smoothly every time. I love the convenience of keyless entry—it makes daily life so much simpler, especially when you’re coming in with your hands full. It responds quickly, locks securely, and gives great peace of mind. The design is clean and minimal, which fits perfectly with a modern home. Overall, a great upgrade for both security and convenience. Highly recommend!

This lock was easy to install and set up with our Google Home. It works well. It locks automatically after 30 seconds. It unlocks and opens easily with our fingerprints, so we never need to enter the numeric code. The batteries have lasted for well over 6 months and they're still going strong. That's one fewer key I need to carry. I can also ask my Google Home devices if my door is locked, so I don't need to go to the door to check. UPDATE: I installed this lock in September 2024. It's now August 2025 and I just received my first "low battery" notification. The original 8 Anker AA batteries that came with the lock lasted for almost a whole year of regular use in our front door. I replaced them today with 8 Amazon basics AA batteries. Replacing the batteries was super easy. No tools were required. The lock is still working great. It locks and unlocks with our fingerprints quickly nearly every time. It's so easy to use our fingerprints that we never use our code.

I purchased the Eufy Smart lock along with 2 others off of Amazon at the same time. Hands down, the Eufy was the best in craftsmanship and quality. It took about 30min to have it installed. It fits the opening of my other regular deadbolt. It not only makes my condo door look more appealing. It's well made and sturdy and heavy. Setting up the phone app only took about 15min and it's very easy to use. I have had 0 problems with the finger print funtion, one time every time. I love the code support option keypad that my family use. I was able to set up individual codes and even if there not used daily, there haven't been any issues. Even though there is a 2nd knob key lock. I really don't have to use it, because the deadbolt is very tight and secure. The batteries that came with it is still working and shows that the batteries want need to be changed for months. I set it to auto lock and without fail it does everytime. I keypad lighing is great day and night. I don't have to double check it. You can adjust the lock volume. So , I have it loud enough to hear someone coming in, but not alarming. I love the app, because, not only does it notify me that my door is locked when I leave, it alerts me when anyone else does as well. It was more expensive then the other two, however it's well worth the price. As far as installation. If you lay everything out and follow the instructions it's quick and easy. Or you can use Utube. Depending on your bolt hole if you're using the same one, you may have to chisel it out some as the bolt is longer. However, even with doing that it on took 30 min. Initially he didn't and it worked, however chiseling it out with a screwdriver, made it very secure. Money well spent. So impressed my neighbor across from me purchased one. I've been wanting to get one and kept putting it off. This lock has changed my life, with limited use of one hand. I don't have to dig in my purse, I can unlock before getting to the door. After, I enter it locks behind me. I do keep a key on my key ring for back up just in case. Well worth the price. This is a purchase that you want regret.

Seamless Eufy Ecosystem Integration, Quick Operation, But Inconsistent Fingerprint. ​As someone who has over 10 Eufy devices, this Smart Lock C220 integrates seamlessly into my security setup. I give it a solid 4 stars. ​Ecosystem & Convenience: The integration is fantastic, and the overall reliability makes sure [we are] never locked out of the house. The quick operation is essential for daily use, and the App remote control works perfectly. ​Installation: Setting this up was surprisingly straightforward. The easy install meant we had it up and running quickly, which is a major benefit when adding a new device to the ecosystem. ​The Drawback (Why 4 Stars): While the lock is excellent, the fingerprint recognition is inconsistent. It only recognizes my fingerprints to unlock, not my wife's. She has to consistently use the pin code instead. This frustrating glitch prevents a perfect 5-star rating. ​Despite the singular issue with the fingerprint reader's inconsistency, the security, ecosystem integration, and quick operation make this a very strong choice for Eufy users. I definitely recommend it for the peace of mind and convenience it adds!

This smart lock is ultra premium. It works flawlessly and was so simple to install and set up. It paired with our WiFi almost instantly, and it works perfectly with Alexa. The fingerprint scan is so helpful - it makes it quick and easy to get in the house (or lock as you leave). It also allows a code to be stored so that entry can be gained without a fingerprint. My husband and I scanned our fingerprints so quickly and easily - it was simple and effortless. The eufy app works great, too. We love this lock and are so glad we bought it. We highly recommend it.

I took out a faulty Yale deadlock on my wooden apartment front door, and having checked the measurements carefully with the instructions (before ordering!), I found it very easy to install. It took a couple of hours, but mainly because my old door has had a couple of previous locks. I do have a lot of tools available, and in my case needed chisels, drill, screwdrivers & some filler .... but in a new door, this should be a dream to fit. I am really impressed with how it works, too. I don't need a separate control hub for this model, as it works through WiFi & is powered by battery. The eufy security app is *very good*, and this made the difference for me, against a similar offering from a very well known company (named above). So, I can open the door with codes, my fingerprints (as many fingers as I want to add) and I can allow others to do so too. I can set different levels of privilege, and use timed and temporary entry codes, all from my phone. I get an (optional) alert every time the door is opened or locked. I have ADHD, and eufy security gave me back my confidence - I set the door to lock automatically after a certain period of time, so I never forget to lock up! I can easily add a camera to my door lock - I haven't as it is an internal apartment door - but I do have a eufy outdoor camera, which stores videos locally on my phone. This means I don't need to pay for any storage subscriptions with my security system. All in all, I'm very happy with my eufy tech!

Connectivité Wi-Fi intégrée : Contrairement à d'autres modèles, il n'y a pas besoin de pont (bridge) supplémentaire. On peut la contrôler à distance directement depuis l'application. Design sobre : Elle a un look moderne et robuste qui ne dénature pas l'entrée de la maison. Autonomie : Jusqu'ici, la batterie semble tenir ses promesses, et j'apprécie l'option de secours via USB-C au cas où les piles tomberaient à plat. Verdict : L'application eufy Security est intuitive et la gestion des codes pour les invités se fait en deux clics. It has been a month or so since I purchased this lock. I wanted to test it for some time before writing a review. And now a month later, I can say definitively that this is the best smart lock in the market. It simply just works. Once I installed the lock, it paired with the eufy app seamlessly. The features I looked for where all found in this lock: 1. Lock must be smart (ie. connects to the wifi to allow me to control it remotely and get status if it’s locked or not at night). Being smart, it means I can generate one time codes to let people in remotely over the wifi. This convenience you wont have with a non-smart lock or Bluetooth connected locks. As those require you to be next to the lock to make modifications like add a new entry code or allow someone in. 2. Fingerprint entry. This is a game changer in terms of convenience. You want the fingerprint feature as it will save you a ton of time. You don’t have to manually enter digits one at a time. It’s a must have time saver. 3. Key pad. In case I want to let a guest in, they can enter using the keypad. I can generate a one time code ahead of time and send it to them via messaging. 4. Back up USB power port: In the rare case your batteries run out, this convenient power allows you to power the lock with a USB power bank and let you in the house. Then you can replace the batteries. 5. Battery powered: it uses 8xAA batteries, which seems a lot at first, but it means it will last long. It has been 1 month now and the lock is working very well. Using removable batteries makes this product more affordable, which is a huge plus. 6. It looks good! 7. Customer service has been really kind to me. The above 7 reasons make this lock an unbeatable lock. Yes, it doesn’t have a camera and it doesn’t have a door bell feature, but I already have a doorbell camera in my front door. I use this smart lock in my back door. A note on customer service: Customer service is very good. After I purchased the smart door lock and then after opening it, I realized that my door had an old style drive-in plate instead of the modern square plate. The instructions that came with the product said to contact customer service. My initial thought was that customer service would have a really difficult time to solve my problem. But to my surprised, they were very helpful. There was a little confusion in the beginning, but when they figured out what I was missing, they went above and beyond to help me locate the necessary part and then placed an order for me. This showed me that they really care. I have trust in the brand and the products and now recommend to friends and family! If you are having some doubts or haven’t quite decided on which smart lock you want to use in your home, this is that lock. Get it. You will love it. If you have money and need some more features like video camera, eufy’s got you. Trust me, just get it, you won’t regret.
