God Gave Us Family

This book is a beautiful and heartwarming story that teaches children the importance of family in all its forms. The illustrations are absolutely adorable, and the message is both uplifting and reassuring, reminding kids that families may look different but are all created in love. It’s a wonderful book to read together, sparking meaningful conversations about belonging and appreciation for the people in our lives.

Lisa Tawn Bergren has written a nice book about the different types of families. From the viewpoint of a wolf family, Little Pup wants to know why they only have one child. Mama and Papa explain that it is the family that God has given them up to this point and may be the only child they have. It is pointed out how others have a lot more in their family but that is what God has given them. It is also mentioned that some parents choose to adopt, and some children are raised by grandparents. And it is also talked about how we are part of a bigger family, like a pack or cousins. I personally related it to include a church family. Sweet story for children to hear or read with lovely illustrations by David Holn.

Purchased this for a Sunday School Pre-K Class. They loved it!

I love this book! I recommend every family to have this book in their library for their children at home.

And, "because we're family, we figure out how to get along".

Bought one for each of my siblings kids. Absolutely adorable, beautiful photos and a well written story. I love this whole series
