Chef'n Palm Brush, Arugula/ Meringue

Not as bulky as i thought which for me is great. I have mild arthritis in my hands so found this lovely little spud scrubber really easy and most importantly, very comfortable to use. The middle finger goes into the ring part and scrub away. So easy. I've used the palm brush for carrots and spuds and they came up nice and clean. You can't be too careful with pesticides and who knows what on our veg these days. The colour is not my favourite but it stands out and is easy to find in a cutlery drawer full of stainless steel. The bristles seem very hardy and are not too rough that they scrub veg to bits-literally like steel wool as my previous veg scrubber did. I thought i would also miss having a handle on the brush but honestly, this little gem of a veg scrubber/palm brush is lots better and, because of the unique way the brush is held, my hand didn't ache nor did i drop it. I'm going to buy one for my mum whose hands are far worse than mine but i know will get lots of use out of it.

I got this for cleaning potatoes having seen one with my cousin. It is a very handy piece of equipment to use and fits comfortably.

This is a very efficient and comfortable-to-use little brush (I don't always even bother with the "finger grippy thing", though that is good for keeping the brush where you want it, when using it under water). It makes short work of cleaning up all sorts of veg, and the bristles aren't so hard that they damage any of the less robust types, such as celery. It's a good design and a very tasteful-looking product as well!

This works very well as a vegetable brush, the bristles being sufficiently stiff; it's easy to keep clean, it's light, reasonably comfortable to hold and the finger ring genuinely helps creaky hands to hold it securely. My only reservation is that I find it a little short after using my old one, and don't get the same 'vigour' into the scrub. Takes a bit longer, but overall I recommend this very highly.

Had loads of potato scrubbing brushes but these last the longest and are so easy to use because you finger goes through, much easier on the hands

I have arthritis in my hands so this is great for me as I don’t keep dropping it as my grip weakens. A godsend!

This is a perfectly ok veg brush, but to be honest I didn't find the finger grippy thing as useful as I thought I would, and the bristles weren't quite stiff enough for me: I have to get lumps of garden of home grown spuds etc and I think I am going to have to buy one with a bit more back-bone. But I expect for the sort of veg you get from the supermarket that are already quite clean-looking this would be perfectly adequate!

I bought this palm brush to match the two peelers that I bought. The quality is really good and it is so much easier to hold than a traditional vegetable scrubber. You hardly notice the effort it takes to use it. It seems really natural to hold the brush and the peelers in the palm of your hand, it seems to give you more stability and strength to use it that way. I am completely satisfied with it.
