Loved these books as a kid, now gifting to a niece for Easter

I bought a selection of Miffy books for a work collegue's new baby. Babues and toddlers love the timeless illustrations and they are always well recieved and therefore a joy to give. Popped the. Ollection in a cute miffy bag also available from amazon to finish off the gift.

Although I have 5 children of my own, I never ventured into the world of Miffy with them. I bought this for my 15 month old grandaughter, along with a cuddly toy and she loves it. My son has to read every page and she sits perfectly still, pointing out the animals and making the relevant noises. She smiles and responds when she gets a noise and animal to match. I think her Daddy would like me to buy another one now as he has read it hundreds and hundreds of times!!

Lovely story, with Miffy's daddy (so a great gift for dads to read with their LOs) taking Miffy to the zoo for the day. Lovely colourful pictures, as always, and a short but simple rhyming story.

Some of the translations into english are 'clunky' and do not rhyme in Australian, American or British english..... otherwise a fabulous childrens' classic.

Amazing quality and an unbelievable value! Contained 10 (not 6 for some reason?) brand new Miffy books! It also had a tiny little stuffed Miffy doll in an orange shirt with embroidered details on the face and shirt attached to the handle of the bag - a wonderful surprise! The bag is totally adorable with a picture of Miffy in an orange shirt on the front, not the blue one that's in the picture; it matches the little stuffed Miffy doll. The tote bag is just the right size to fit the books in, so it is quite small, but perfect for a toddler. Ready for gift giving as it includes the Miffy "To: / From:" card on the handle as well. Overall a delightful set that was received joyfully by the little recipient. Can't recommend it enough for your little Miffy fan!
