I have purchased several of these types of gates over the years for pets. This is one of the best gates I have ever had - very good quality, sturdy, easy to open and close. It also has the function of staying open when pushed past a certain point and it ACTUALLY stays open. Really nice feature. The adjustable cat door is nice, but be aware that it does rattle. With that in mind, your cat WILL rattle that bad boy when their food dish is empty. At 2 AM. Just sayin'. It installs very easily and sits securely in the doorway and really doesn't budge once it's in place. I have bumped into it several times and it hasn't moved. The only potential issue is that this is a "tall" gate which means it is roughly as high as your average doorknob. I have a gate on a door with a regular "ball" type knob and one on a door with a handle-type knob and both hit the top of the gate, preventing you from being able to close the door fully. Additionally, the part of the gate that impacts the doorknob is the stationary side piece, so even having the gate open will not allow you to fully close the door. Not a terrible issue, but one to be aware of. I have had the shorter, "regular" height gates and they end just underneath the knob and you can close the door. Just an FYI. Overall, a very nice quality gate that works well.

Love the adjustable cat door🥰. Now my dogs can’t get to the cat food! The door will automatically close but if pushed far enough will automatically stay open. My laundry is in the hallway bathroom and I fold my clothes on my bed, so I don’t have to worry about trying to open it with an arm full of clothes. Very easy to put together. I also love that the ends that tighten to the wall have rubber on them. It’s makes it very secure in the doorway.

The gate is perfect. Easy to install and suitable for adults to use. It keeps my dog out of my cat's food area. I love the ability to change the size of the cat door and the fact that it slides up and down instead of swinging in and out, so it doesn't get in the way. The only issue I have with it is that I couldn't use it in our bathroom for the litter box because we couldn't close the door with it installed.

absolutely love this product. It's exactly what we needed for my cat. the adjustable trap door makes it so easy for her to come and go as she pleases. it's not super sturdy but it's sturdy enough, it gets the job done for the price! highly recommend

Works good. Solidly built. Easy to operate. I really like the adjustable small door. My cat figured it out right away. I only rated it 4 stars because I wish it had more pressure. You can only tighten it so far with the existing plastic nut then it clicks back to the last tightness. I could pull the gate out of place pretty easily. I may see if I can find some metal nuts and washers that don’t slip to use instead so I can tighten it more. If they would have provided metal nuts that didn’t slip, it would definitely be a 5 star product. I’m using it in a wooden door frame so I really don’t want to drill holes for the end brackets. These brackets would be required if the gate was installed on stairs and/or protecting a child. (My cat is smart enough to get away from our new puppy if she happens to knock down the gate.)

Very good at keeping our new puppy in the Great Room with tile for easy clean up. Also, it looks really nice. The latch is a little fussy because I found I need my whole arm free to operate it easily (squeeze and lift). However, that is okay because I LOVE the auto-close. The gate always looks closed to the puppy.

Purchased to keep husky out of a room the cats can call their own. Works great. Cat door can be easily adjusted making it larger or smaller depending on size of cat. Gate was easy to put together. Am able to close the room door as well if I want. So far so good. It has kept the dog out. Happy with purchase.

It was more difficult to install than expected. The extension piece did not snap into place. It was loose and kept coming apart. The gate was difficult to open and close until I discovered I could put a piece of tape over the spring loaded piece at the bottom and now it works beautifully. I do love the cat door, though, and it is easily adjustable. And I also like the added height as my daughter brings her french bulldog who could easily jump over the 30" gate. We are hoping it is strong enough to keep him from knocking it down.

I bought this gate to keep our puppy from going downstairs while also giving our cat a puppy free space. I love the small pet door. Our huge cat fits through the door on the second largest setting and the puppy doesn’t fit, so the cat can be safe but also free. The installation was a breeze. I love that it’s *actually* pressure mounted - no holes in the walls at all. And the fit is tight. Love that the door swings both ways making it easy to walk through going up or down the stairs. Solid quality. I’m super impressed.

A bit of a flimsy product. It’s hard to open and close, not a smooth mechanism at all. Overall does the job which is keeping the baby out while allowing the cat to enter.

Fits perfectly and works great! Recommend purchasing if you’re looking for a great toddler/pet gate. Strong and sturdy.

Overall it's a good baby gate! Easy to put together. I like that you can swing it both ways. The only downfall is how the cat door can be dropped down quite easily, it wouldn't be hard for our baby to press the release button. We ended up putting a ziptie to ensure that the cat door can't fall and squish her fingers (if she does manage to get the button).
