Eating like I’m cheating!
This pasta is really fantastic. I didn’t cook the first pack long enough, that was my fault. Says to boil 11-20 minutes, I did 15 minutes and that’s not long enough. Second box I boiled noodles 24 minutes and they were perfect al dente. The texture and flavor were perfect after boiling them that long. I can’t believe how good it is for being so low carb. Yes, it’s expensive, but I love pasta and i love not being fat. This extra money is well spent and very tasty. Got to end this review so i can buy more! Peace out and get your body back and eat like you’re cheating.

Best low carb pasta
I’ve been buying this product for over a year now and love it. I’m not Keto just low carb and I find this pasta helps with being able to make a variety of meals for me and my husband. Is it expensive, yes, does it take long to cook, yes, however it’s worth it for us! It tastes great and pretty much (90%) just like real pasta. I’ve tried a few others that are cheaper and they were not good at all.

Worth The Money
If you are a diehard pasta lover, Italian or live for pasta you probably won't care for Pete's. But I'm Keto and I just won't waste carbs on pasta. It's true, this pasta is firmer but not hard when cooked and can't be overcooked or at least I don't think so. It doesn't become mushy. I made marinara meat sauce, cooked my pasta, drained, added a little olive oil, placed in a bowl, added my meat sauce and shredded some parmesan cheese on it. I was very happy having a bowl of pasta. I look forward to making a pasta salad soon. Yes, it's expensive but I have no intentions of eating it daily. This is a good choice for me and I hope it will be for you, too.

This is not pasta...
Stiff, hard to cook, does not taste like pasta at all. If you look at the pictures from their web site, it appears as though this product is just like regular pasta. It is not. Don't expect silky soft noodles, even after hours of cooking. I tried soaking over night, which softened them slightly, but the texture turned to mush. Don't expect to be able to twirl around your fork. They are more like little twigs than pasta. BUT... Though they do not taste like pasta, it's not a bad flavor at all. I kind of like it now. My initial disappointment came from unmet expectations. I really wanted an exact replica of genuine pasta that would not blast my blood sugar (I have type 1 diabetes). I wanted plates full of this pasta to look like the idyllic pictures on their web page. Once I let go of those pictures, I could appreciate the product for what it was: A noodle shaped, stiff, sort-of pasta. It will never be "fork-spinable" like real pasta. Let the dream of delicious zero carb pasta go and you can appreciate this stuff. These will not twirl on any fork. But, break the sticks into 1/3 or 1/4 length pieces, and they're great with cheese sauce or marinara. Expect to cook them twice as long as standard spaghetti; 30 mins minimum. Cooking them 6 hours won't change the consistency. They do not taste like pasta at all, but I like the unique buttery flavor. Would I buy again? You might be surprised when I say yes. This is a new food, with different texture and a new flavor. I'm still experimenting with it. I would encourage you to do the same, but I would not buy 3 boxes of the stuff to start. One is plenty.

Best Tasting Substitute I’ve Found
Having tried other high fiber, protein pastas before I knew this would require longer cooking. I cook it about 30min. It’s still al dente. First time I didn’t cook it enough and the noodles squeaked on my teeth. Next time I cooked it longer using No Salt Beef Broth and it was perfect. 2 ounces is the perfect serving size. I cooked 4 ounces and after cooking it weighed over 10 ounces. The fiber is a great addition for the low net carb pasta. I wish it wasn’t so expensive. Next time I order I am making it a subscription so I can always have it on hand. This tastes just like regular pasta and doesn’t have odors like the konjac or the artichoke heart pasta…I found them inedible! These are great tasting and unique shapes.

For pasta lovers who don't love the carbs!
I was very hesitant to try this pasta as I was afraid it would have a bad taste or texture and for the price, I didn't want to be right! However, I was quite mistaken! I have actually purchased this several times now. I absolutely love the fact that I can continue watching my carbs and still have pasta! In my opinion, compared to regular pasta, this is so worth it!! I highly recommend giving it a try!

Terrible texture, decent taste.
This is really a question of what is more important to you when it comes to how you like your keto friendly pasta. If it's the taste, you're golden with this brand. The taste is very close to regular pasta. If it's the texture, look elsewhere. It does not soften up and it's a little on the gritty/crumbly side no matter how long you boil it. I'm a texture kind of girl, so I'm going to have to pass on this brand in the future, because it is also rather expensive.

A healthy replacement for pasta
Overall, this pasta was good, but not quite perfect for me. The texture came out a little tougher than expected, which may have been partly my fault since I might have overcooked it. That said, even after adjusting cooking time on a second try, it still had a firmer bite than traditional pasta. Flavor-wise, it was decent but slightly off compared to regular rotini. It’s not bad, just different, and I could tell it’s a high-protein, low-carb option. With a flavorful sauce, it worked much better and was more enjoyable. On the positive side, I appreciate the nutritional profile. It’s filling, satisfying, and a good alternative if you’re watching carbs or trying to increase protein. The pasta held its shape well and didn’t fall apart during cooking. I’d buy it again for specific meals where I want a healthier pasta option, but it’s something I’d use selectively rather than as an everyday replacement. Solid product overall, just not quite a five-star fit for my taste.

Great low carb pasta! Tastes great, good texture, nice packaging. Will be buying again when it's back in stock. I've tried some other konjac noodles and other low carb pastas, yes they were lower in carbs but the experience is just ruined with those. This is a 7g net carbs that's worth it.

I am on a low carb diet for various medical issues, but I was really missing pasta. I have only tried the elbow so far, but I loved it. I did find it raised my blood sugar a little bit, so I will have to eat it in moderation (I had approximately 1/4 of the package for each meal I ate). The taste was fine, very similar to real dried pasta. It took a fair bit longer than real pasta to cook, as it is much firmer. The macaroni is still quite al dente, even after cooking it for longer than the recommended al dente time (11-20 minutes stated on the package, I boiled it for about 14-15). It does not absorb water as well as normal pasta, either, so my sauce ended up a bit runny (next time I will drain it longer/better). I do wish they sold the spaghetti in Canada, but for now the smaller noodles will have to do. It is quite expensive, as I'm finding most keto foods are, over $16 for a package, which works out to just over $4 for each serving. Macaroni and cheese was so good after being missed for over a year, though!
