I got this for my mum’s 70th birthday and it honestly couldn’t have been a better gift. The book itself is really lovely quality, and there are loads of pages – plenty of room for her to write and even add photos if she wants. The questions are brilliant too. They go right back to her childhood, through to raising me, and even her thoughts on how the world has changed. She’s really enjoyed sitting down and remembering things, and it’s been so nice to see her smiling as she writes. I can’t wait to get it back once she’s filled it in – having all her memories and stories in her own handwriting will be something I’ll treasure forever. Such a thoughtful present and way better than just another “thing” – it’s something that will stay in the family for generations.

A thoughtful and extremely well received gift for my mother at Christmas. The book itself is beautiful quality and looks lovely, but it is the sentiment that really makes this a unique gift. Not only is my mother enjoying filling it out, I can’t wait to read it when she is finished. I will also be able to share the finished book and my mother’s life experiences with my children. It also seemed extremely reasonably priced. My mother also loved it so much she has mentioned it to several of her friends - who have gone onto purchase it.

To be honest I'm not happy with this purchase just a little bit of writing but basically plane pages all the way through certainly wouldn't buy this again the person who made this certainly needs to be more creative as this was disappointing to give to my mum looks lovely on the out side but just crap on the in side sort it out Have to put 5 stars as amazon is not honest as trying to put 1 star they won't list it

I've bought this for my mum and mother in law what a fantastic gift they have both written in thiers and handed it back and it's great to find out about thier past and other facts I didn't know the onky downside is the book is slight repetitive

These are such a lovely idea. The book feels good quality with nice paper. They aren’t the cheapest but I think they are worth it for the purpose and sentiment. I’m teaming them with an ancestry DNA test to make it a bit of a ‘package’.

I finally bought this as my mother's day gift, after having it on my wish list for ages. My parents are both in their middle to late 70's now, so this gift seemed a nice way of making sure that I had asked them things that I may not have thought to before. In all honesty, I wasn't sure how my mother was going to take it, as she often says that she doesn't like to look back on things, but she actually had a better response to it than I thought she was going to. The book itself is good quality too - the pages seem to be made from good, thick paper, and the questions all plenty of room for their answers. There is also a ribbon marker, which was quite a nice touch. Overall, this makes for a unique and different gift to give to your loved one. My mum did say that she didn't want me to use her answers as content for her funeral, but I reassured her that this wasn't why I had got it her!

Perfect gift for Mum to write her memoirs. My children bought it for me for z mothers day and writing it has brought back many memories. My daughter read some of what I have done so far and was surprised to find that I had a life before being a wife, mother, grandmother and great Granny

My Mum loved this gift book. She found the questions helpful and unique. She annoyed the wander down memory lane while telling me her story. It's so hard to find anything with "Mum" not " Mom" too. I've bought another copy to fill up eith stories for my own Children. I Would highly recommend.
