I was torn between this and the more expensive brand name box and am super happy I purchased this one (96 x 48, 2 room). It takes no time to assemble and is well made. Very easy to clean which is one of the features I was looking for. I was able to remove the pig rail after about 2.5 weeks. My only complaint is that I have not found a way to purchase individual panels/posts to make this a bigger play pen during and after weaning pups. If I could get 4 more panels with posts I could double the size and give them a large play room, without having to purchase a whole additional whelping box.

I have a standard American bully for size reference, she is 17atw and 85lbs. Super easy to set up and modify. I wish it has more tri panels because I set a bed on the other side of it and would make it easier for me🙄 Easy to clean, sturdy, and an awesome size. Best value for the money by far!

This was a perfect whelping box for our litter of golden retrievers… up until the puppies were about 4 weeks. I love how easy it was to assemble and it is super easy to wipe down the walls. The problem is the bottom. It is NOT waterproof, with a litter of just 5 it is soaked through to the floor after 5-6 hours. We are using XL puppy pads underneath. The puppies are able to wiggle the liner loose and then chew up the rope that is meant to keep it tight to the walls.

This is a great whelping box..I bought it for my weimaraner puppies for a pen after they weaned..It is bigger and sturdier than what I thought it would be ..very nice and I would highly recommend it

Loved the product easy to put together and use we had a few litters and we loved how the puppies were in area that was easy to clean.

It takes a lot for a product to really impress me to the point where I actually take the time to sit down and write a product review. Senneny's XLarge Whelping Box for dogs IS that kind of product. I continue to be blown away by how easy it is to keep clean which is so important for newborn pups, never mind the fact that this whelping box practically assembles itself! Senneny thought of everything that a well-made whelping box should have: solid durable materials; a waterproof liner with pull strings to create a snug fit around the whelping box which provides a very effective barrier between your floor and the box; safety features such as the 4'x4' interior pig rails which provides a "no smooshing" zone for the pups plus smooth/rounded corners and top rails so nobody gets inadvertently snagged/injured; and, finally, this box gives you total flexibility with how you want to configure/customize your box to fit the growing needs of your momma and her pups that is incredibly easy to modify over and over again as your pups grow and eventually are weaned during their first 8 weeks. I *get* that Senneny's whelping box is (IMO) a bit pricey but not when you take into account all the time, money, and emotions that you've spent to get your dog to this point and the peace of mind that comes from knowing you have a safe and sanitary environment that actually makes your job much easier is well worth it.

I was so hesitant to spend the money on this whopping box, but it’s proven to be worth it. We got the 2 room whelping box and my oh my has it been a game changer. We loved the pipe that goes around the inside to prevent mom from squishing a puppy against the sides on accident. Super easy to clean and very sturdy! Easy to assemble!

Pros: easy to assemble, easy to clean, easy to section off areas. Cons: when pups get big enough to jump up, not super strong. You would have to create a frame on the floor to surround the box for added strength. Not overly necessary. We never had it break or anything. But with larger breed pups I would suggest a wood floor frame. Still worth the money, it’s convenient.
