Awesome Quality and great price

Bought to replace an existing mixer tap that was in the stud wall behind my shower. Wanted something easy to plumb in and fix properly without messing with levels etc. Was installed in a few hours (once cut out the old broken unit). Existing pipework was easily adapted using additional speedfit connectors. Instructions were clear and very easy to follow. The only thing I would say, and no fault of the manufacturer: if you are installing a square face plate then any "off" lines will be *very very* obvious. So affix the facecover and faceplate then work out your alignment back from that. You are limited to 6 degree float by the internals when you put them in... So easy to fit! Had it done in a few hours (this is for replacing existing unit in a stud wall...from the shower side) 1. Affix a backboard to screw the back to 2. Plumb unit in and pressure test 3. Affix unit to backboard, then use spirit level to get fore/aft tilt and left/right. Pack out behind screws with washers and tighten it all up. 4. Fit the supporting faceplate and clips to lock in place at right depth 5. Fit your wall board (i used a sheet of hardibacker) to the right depth for your tiles + adhesive depth 5b: pressure test again (Im a diyer so paranoid about my plumbing 6. Seal it all in with sanitary sealant 7. Apply thin layer of tile adhesive around the unit cylinder then fix the latex sheath to get a really good seal. 8. Tile, grout and seal etc. or whatever you want to put on top. 9. Install your chosen control unit (I got the square thermostatic mixer... bad choice as my tiling isnt super square :D) Id buy this again if was doing another shower as was so easy to get the levels right... Very happy with this controller and it looks great and works very well but it’s a bit fiddly to assemble and set up and you need a thermometer to set the temperature at 38c. The instructions in the box are not easy to follow as they are all pictures with very little text so I used YouTube to find a video which made it much clearer. Assembling the two control knobs is very fiddly too.

This piece of equipment is so efficient but if your plumber needs any further info contact Grohe. A little intimidating when it arrived but makes sense when you consult documentation.

Easy instructions, easy to use

Thermostaat is lastig in te regelen. Kleine verandering geeft meteen heel heet water. Heeft geen maximale stand (bijvoorbeeld 37C). Had veel meer verwacht van dit product.

Corpo ad incasso per la doccia della Grohe che serve per quello esterno. Normalmente viene venduto tutto il set ma avendo già la parte esterna ho acquistato solo questo che va praticamente incassato al muro Di dimensioni generose quindi prima di acquistarlo assicuratevi che il muro sia spesso altrimenti si rischia sfondarlo. L’installazione non è tra le più semplici e anche se sono riuscito a montarlo, consiglio vivamente la posa in opera da un idraulico che storcerà il naso. Ha tre vie di uscita che nel mio caso usato per un box doccia fa uscire l’acqua dal soffione in modalità pioggia molto delicata e in modalità getto più energetica e la terza uscita va messa sul doccino. Il risultato e bellissimo e confortevole Nel mio caso oltre a questo articolo ho dovuto comprare la parte esterna. Il soffione e il suo corpo ad incasso il gomito del doccino e il doccino stesso. Una spesa sicuramente importante ma vi garantisco che sarà un vero piacere farsi la doccia.
