Amazing GPU, can handle any game. Ray tracing not perfect, but that's OK
This is literally the perfect 1440P card in 2025/2026 for me personally. Destroys (basically) every game. I've had it for around a year now, and have had zero issues. Vast majority of the time, I just set max settings in every game, and still easily achieve well over 100FPS, most of the time above 144FPS, with really nice frame timing, around 5ms. The one disappointment is that the card doesn't do great with ray tracing. It does depend on title, but it's pretty weak in this area. In Hogwarts Legacy for example, RT vs no RT yields around 40FPS vs 110FPS... it's very significant. BUT, if you don't care so much about Ray Tracing, you're really gonna struggle to find a card with as much VRAM and pure rasterization power. For older games and dev work, it's a dream. The GPU's built extremely well, fully metal chassis that feels genuinely substantial. The RGB looks great and is customizable without an ARGB cable. I've never noticed fan noise, ever. And even in modern games, most don't bring the card to 100% usage. It sits at around 50 degrees C for me usually when gaming which is wild. One last thing, I would advise to wait and see if you can get this card around £500 which is what I paid. The current price of ~£650 or higher just isn't worth it.

Apparent Coil Whine but…..
I decided I didn’t really require anything outlandish for the older titles I play and as this was on offer with good reviews I took a punt. I predominantly use 1440p and this handles everything thrown at it admirably with settings at ‘Ultra’. To maintain FPS of 120-150 I had to turn it down to ‘High’ and that’s its sweet spot. Even under heavy load it runs reasonably coolly, the dedicated GPU fans never run much past 60%. At 16GB GPU memory there’s more than sufficient to handle most tasks though I’ve seen Elite Dangerous near the limit on a few occasions Coil Whine was fairly apparent but not a big deal as I tend to use headphones. I imagine with speakers it would be an issue. This is worth noting and may be of interest to anybody suffering coil whine on any card: As I mention above it was an issue for me when simply hooked to the mains via a 6-way extension block. This was eradicated completely when I integrated my mains conditioner from an unused hifi system. When you consider that the only input into your system is electricity you can understand the phrase, “garbage in, garbage out”. I get that most people won’t have a £2,500 mains unit kicking about but you can buy extension blocks with lesser conditioners integrated for around the £100 mark. If this powers your amp/speakers and monitor too the likely uplift in performance you’ll probably receive make it a reasonable investment.

Performance.
Great card, sadly never received mine due to going "missing" during delivery. I ended buying a Gygabyte from Curry's. The refund was quick.

Amazing GPU
Great GPU, the support is really useful. Superb performance paired with my Ryzen 7700. The price does fluctuate and somehow I managed to get it for less than £400.

Amazing card for 2k and a bit of 4k gaming
Plays amazing at 2k, and amazing at 4k for some games. At 2k, I set everything on ULTRA and at 4k, I set HIGH and they play well too.

This a wonderful and powerful card. Upgraded from an RX 6700 XT Pulse, playing in QHD. The gap IS still strong between the two. Now I Can max out my settings and with max RT with some tweaks (AFMF/ FSR3). It is a very quiet model, different BIOS switch possible too. I have played with the OC/UV via Adrenalin and it is a great OC capable model. It fits in my 500FX case nicely as you can see. I could have a 7800 XT Pulse for 530€ but I wanted the premium Nitro for 599€.

Ik was erg overstuur toen ik dit vreemde geluid hoorde, een piep. Ik dacht dat ik een stille grafische kaart had gekocht. Maar dat is nog niet alles, er stak één bout uit de achterkant.
