If you're just starting a fragrance collection, or if you're looking for a fragrance that will put a smile on your face and make you feel good...look no further. This is sold as unisex, but perfectly safe for a male to wear. There's a lot going on with this fragrance and to the untrained nose, wear it for a few days and it will grow on you. This is an Extrait De Parfum so be conservative on the number of sprays you use. For the trained nose, this smells like a twist of the LV Pacific Chill. It is not a 1 for 1, but something much stronger with pretty great longevity. The longevity, strength/projection and scent profile will differ person to person due to their individual skin chemistry. Remember that spraying a fragrance on a tester strip is not the same as spraying directly on your skin and allowing it a few minutes to dry down. Let me say that...even though this is not a 1 to 1 of Pacific Chill, this is still a very uplifting and long-lasting fragrance that I would say is safe for a blind buy. Lastly, the box that the fragrance arrives in feels up-scale and the bottle is heavy and high quality for its size. You cannot go wrong if you're looking for a fragrance for mid-spring through late fall. I'm pretty certain this would also perform well in the winter months. Here's a breakdown of the note profile: Top Notes: Black Currant, Orange, Citron, Mint, Coriander, Grapefruit. Middle Notes: Apricot, Basil, Rose, Violet Leaf. Base Notes: Fig, Dates, Ambrette, Amberwood. Finally, make sure you do your homework and purchase from a verified seller/store on Amazon. An ideal "safe" store could look like: 4.5-5.0 Stars (Reviews), store name that is connected to a US-based LLC, be sure to look at the number of sales in the last 12 months and read the reviews. Rare Reef Men’s Fragrance Review Presentation (2/5): The box has a luxury look and feel, but unfortunately the bottle does not sit securely inside. It’s a very loose and sloppy fit, and if you’re not careful when opening, the bottle can fall right out. Because of this design flaw, I can only give the presentation box 2 out of 5 stars. Bottle & Sprayer (4/5): The bottle itself is heavy, sturdy, and well-designed. Where it truly shines, though, is the sprayer. It’s easily one of the best sprayers I’ve ever used at this price point—smooth, even, and delivers just the right amount of fragrance. Scent (4/5): The fragrance opens with a perfect blend of citron, grapefruit, orange, and mint. It’s clean, fresh, and uplifting. The middle notes are dominated by a delicious apricot and basil accord, while the citrus top notes linger for at least the first hour on my skin. The base notes are subtle to the point that I don’t really detect them, but the middle notes remain noticeable for about 4 hours, projecting in a bubble at arm’s length. Over the next 2 hours, that bubble gradually moves closer to the skin. After the 6-hour mark, it becomes more of a skin scent—but here’s the surprise: walking through a breezeway with a decent wind actually revived the scent bubble. Even more impressive, later that night after showering (with unscented soap), my wife noticed the fragrance again, saying it had popped back up with a noticeable bubble. Overall: Rare Reef is a fresh, clean, and versatile fragrance with excellent sprayer performance and solid longevity for its price. While the box presentation leaves much to be desired, the scent itself is a winner and worth adding to your collection.

Strong, almost overwhelming bright citrus opening. After it dries down it is very refreshing and pleasant. It lasts uncommonly long for a fresh fragrance. 7+ hours on skin and clothes and I can still smell it.

this is similar/a dupe of LV pacific chill but not the same as it, very zesty like a citrus peel and soapy smelling, this will work great as a casual fragrance or a gym fragrance, lasts pretty long but may need several sprays to make a head turn, good price and packaging

Smells like celery . A lot. Hoping it smoothes out after setting for a few weeks. Disappointed so far. So much hype ?

Ce parfum est bluffant, sa note de fond est très addictive. Les premières secondes il ne sent pas comme Ombre leather, pas moins bon, juste différent. Puis passer 10 minutes, vient un fort mélange de cuir et de framboise que l'on retrouve dans l'Ombre Leather. Et c'est bien cette note de fond si singulière et atypique que je souhaitais retrouver dans ce parfum. Je ne suis absolument pas déçu de retrouver cette senteur rare et hypnotisante. À voir sur la durée maintenant, car celà fait à peine 2h que je le porte.

Huele muy parecido a Tom Ford Ombre Leather. Un olor elegante a cuero y ámbar, ideal para la noche, y algo formal. El único tema es que tiene muy poca duración.

Too citrusy. Dry down is good. Clone of LV pacific chill. Great buy for summer and beaches. It's a refreshing smell.

Smells amazing and it's under 40 CAD. Would recommend for people who want to smell great on a budget.
