I was given a KitchenAid stand mixer that didn't come with a beater bar attachment. There were so many to choose from and you have to be really careful that you select the correct size or the attachment may hit the bottom of the bowl and not turn correctly...it seemed very confusing to order one, but luckily there were enough reviews on this one that I felt comfortable ordering it. When it arrived I noticed right away it was sturdy and made of all metal/stainless steel food grade quality. It fit my stand mixer perfectly. I turned it on, and was pleased that it works well when attached, mixes ingredients perfectly and doesn't hit the bottom of the bowl but does go all the way to the bottom as a perfect fit. Since it is all metal, it is easy to clean. I love this beater attachment!

When the enamel started chipping on my original flat beater, I decided I wanted a metallic beater. It fit my KitchenAid nicely, with only a minor adjustment. I haven't had any issues with the beater mixing the sides. I anticipate that this scraper will outlive my KitchenAid.

This beater fits my 6 qt KitchenAid mixer perfectly, and works great. I like the fact that it doesn't have a coating that will come off, as my previous flat beaters had. I'm very happy with it and definitely recommend it.

My mixer is working full time with my cookie business. This attachment is the best one I've bought so far. It is extremely sturdy. There is no paint to chip off into my dough with this attachment. My last one had white paint and it was chipping off into my dough. It is easy to clean and works well for my cookie dough.

So thankful for this aftermarket solutions. I considered donating my kitchen aid stand mixer due to the hazard from paint chipping from the paddles - they never lasted long before chipping and lead exposure. This stainless steel paddle is finally the right size for my Costco-bought lift stand mixer; another was too wide. It’s brought renewed joy and excitement to using the stand mixer. Shame on big corporations for always producing cheap and hazardous products.

The accessories hits/ rubs the mixing bowl. The dough hook once the mixing bowl is raised won't move when turned on since there is a potrusion in the bowl that prevents the hook from moving. As ypu watch the video you will hear all three attachments hitting the mixing bowl.
