Eco Pond Fish Pond Duckweed Control 500ml

I have two ponds connected and they are BOTH CLEAR NOW having used the product. It DOES NOT KILL THE DUCKWEED it stops it from multiplying so as the individual weeds die off, they aren't replaced. It does work!!

So far so good I’m about to reach week 4 and I have put a whole bottle of this chemical into my pond each week. Before doing so, I make a habit of using a net to remove as much duck weed as possible and clear the water surface of those little weeds using my leaf blower or my hose so that there’s as little duck weed remaining as possible. Generally 99% of the water surface stays free of weed in the week that follows. However, I also did some reading up as am doing other things to improve the health of the waters. I’ve installed a solar pump to inject some air into the water. Overall the look of the water seems to be improving. Not sure this will eradicate all the weed but it’s getting it to a much more manageable level.

Like many other reviewers, this just doesn't work. I thought initially it slowed the spread but frankly there is no evidence of that at all. It's a shame that despite several one star reviews, it still shows 3-4 stars. Stars to be weighted due to how recent they are. I ALSO BELIEVE IT DOES KILL POND LIFE SO BE WARY.

Perfect product. Does what it states. Hadn’t completely got rid of duckweed. But it didn’t say if would just that it would prevent more growing, which it has. Love the easy to measure bottle too.

After so much research finding a product that would work, I have not found any improvement /reduction in the quantity of the 'duckweed', after 2 applications of the "Eco Pond duckweed control". How long must one wait before seeing any improvement ?? Seems to be a complete waste of money.

Too early to judge how well this works long term. Some reviews suggest it doesn't work but I think the idea is to remove as much duckweed as possible before adding any treatment which should prevent it multiplying too quickly, therefore keeping it more manageable. Considering duckweed has such a high growth rate I have had no new growth after 1 week so it definitely works. Once you get on top of the problem I imagine you could totally get rid of all duckweed but it will need a constant effort of netting out and top up treatment for a month or so.

Did not do the job it was made for ,the duck weed is still growing,a complete waste of money
