Boker Plus Cop Tool Knife

Soooo I have a problem. This tool works really well and holds up great. I now have 5 of them for work, in my work vehicle, my personal vehicle, boat, on my EDC belt and back up gear. The kydex sheath is a big improvement and wish it was available on its own as well.

But one of these and it quickly turns into a “you against the world scenario”. Receiving this was equivalent to what I would’ve expected King Arthur to feel pulling that sword out of the stone or Luke Skywalker wielding his first lightsaber. Pure perfection, came sharp as a razor and bigger in size than expected (that’s what she said!) The sheath gets a bad wrap and while it does need improvements, I carry it daily inside crawl spaces and attics and have dragged it through mud dirt and ice and have no issues. Just break down and get one, you won’t regret it and if the sheath is that bad, learn to do your own kydex! Get one now!

The Boker Cop Tool Plus is a great tool. I purchased this on Amazon as the pictures show the leather sheath with metal clip. The description however, says it comes with a kydex sheath. I rolled the dice and unfortunately ended up with the kydex sheath. The tool is great for law enforcement. Most law enforcement officers now wear their ballistic vest in an outer carrier. The leather sheath clips right in to the vest that everyone is issued in the state I live in. How I got around the inferior kydex sheath, was purchasing an Ulticlip, model 3+. I used some Loctite thread locker on the screws. This sheath will now securely fit into my outer carrier. It was an $18 workaround, but it needed to happen. I strongly recommend this tool.

I'm an Air Force EOD tech and use alot of knives/cutting tools. The Cop tool is one of the most versitile tools I've run into and works great. I haven't used the prybar yet but I'm looking forward to it. It's small enough to stay out of the way but has good working surfaces. The sheath clip sucks. The retention in the leather has held up well so far (I carry it upside down and have done a good bit of rolling around with it). I ripped out the metal clip, made the slots a little bigger and put a malace clip thru it. That's worked great. All and all well worth the money.

The tool is nice but advertising a beautiful leather sheath and then providing a piece of crap kydex is poor business practice and blatant false advertising

This is a very useful tool; definitely one of the best purchases I've ever made. The sheath is leather and very solid/durable. Being 440 stainless I'm sure it'll make a nice addition to my diving gear as well.

The tool itself seems good. It’s solid, has a good weight and size. I have read many reviews complaining that the vendor has substituted a kydex sheath for the leather sheath that is advertised. Instead I got no sheath at all. None. That severely curtails my ability to use this thing since I can’t carry it and it is essentially a fixed blade knife with a very short cutting edge. So that is extremely disappointing for an item I paid more than $70 for. Edit: I reached out to Kaviso Outdoors, who were the actual vendors for my purchase, and they issued me a partial refund so I could get an aftermarket sheath. The item arrived to me sealed from the factory with no sheath inside, so it’s Boker’s fault this happened. Kaviso was actually helpful and I appreciate their help trying to fix it. Still, be aware that Boker, the manufacturer, is clearly cutting corners and not doing their job when it comes to meeting the most basic of expectations regarding a simple sale.

Small enough for edc, but durable enough for anything you can think of. I personally purchased it as an alternative to carrying a knife and separate pry tool with me to work, and it hasn't disappointed. I wouldn't use it as a replacement for a heavier crowbar or something of that ilk, but it's definitely well made and meant to take a beating. It is a tad pricey, but in years of searching, I've yet to find anything half as useful.
