I only scanned a few hundred UPC and "Code128" barcodes with it, but it seems to work fine. It's worth mentioning that you should hold the trigger until it beeps, rather than just pull the trigger and expect it to scan every time, as it occasionally doesn't see the bar code immediately, but once I got into the habit of holding the trigger and sliding the laser line along the barcode as I do (so that it would continuously see something a little different, in case it didn't scan immediately), I had no trouble getting it to scan every time. I've not used other barcode scanners so I can't speak to whether that's normal or not, but for $12, I don't mind having to learn how to work with it. There are more configuration barcodes than come with it if you search up the model number "Tera 2005C" on the internet, which is probably a better reference than the Amazon listing for what exactly it can do.

works just fine, and for the price i could not be happier. it scans every time, no issues.
