Best way to make a house look occupied!!!
My wife and I recently started caring for the house of a family member, but we can't make time to get there all the time. We needed to put in security cameras as well as other deterrents to make the house appear to be occupied as normal. I set one of these projectors up on a timer, and it is Amazing!! It literally looks like someone is turning on the lights throughout the night, walking around the room, and shutting the lights back off. NOTE: The light projected looks something like a flashlight, so it will have to be in a room that has blinds or curtains. We use it in a room that has blinds and it looks perfect from the outside. I plan on buying a few more of these to put in different rooms of the house as well as my own home in case the wife and I are on vacation. I highly recommend picking this up if you need to make a home up here occupied or more occupied than it actually is. In this day that we need to take extra steps, we need something exactly like this in our toolboxes. Again, I highly recommend this item.. and if you do get it, I recommend at least trying it with a timer. It works incredibly well for me!

Who Is Walking In Front Of The Light?
Bought this device to make my home look lived in when I am traveling. First the good news. The result is subtle but it does give the illusion of people walking in a lit room. The light is bright if you look at it but by the time it goes through the drapes, it is not overpowering. The light is being projected onto a light colored drape in my room and you need a light weight or thin window covering for it to work. It is in addition to a TV simulator in another room that I also bought from Amazon. It is just an added layer to the security. It seems well made, it doesn't get hot, and can be kept out when it is not in use. If you have thick drapes or curtains it will not work. I am glad I purchased it. Now for the bad news. It has cord that is just short of 5 feet so I needed to get an extension cord to make it work in my place. And it takes an extremely long period of time from the time I ordered it until I received it. Almost seems like they decided to make it after I placed my order. The instructions say it was designed in Austria and it says it is made in China, so it seems like the company got my order from Amazon, told China to make it, sent it to Amazon for delivery, and I finally got it. Be sure you have the time to wait until it arrives. In my house, it seems to work best if it is placed about 8-10 feet away from the drapes. Longer distance and you do not see the effect. I would purchase it again.

Not Great
Not sure what the bright lights are for. And the light is kind of a sickly white LED light. Would be more effective if it were dimmer and just look like shadows moving around rather than lighting up the room so everyone can see that there’s no one in there. And it won’t let you dim it very much.

Remote is cheap and flimsy and cannot make adjustments
It automatically turned on but I could not adjust it to turn off in a couple of hours

A Beacon of Home Security
The Home Shadows Attendance Simulator has been a game-changer in enhancing the sense of security within my home. In an era where home safety is paramount, this ingenious device offers a simple yet effective solution to deter potential intruders by simulating the presence of people moving around inside the house, even when no one is actually there. From the moment I set it up, the peace of mind it provided was palpable. The simulator uses lights and moving shadows to create a convincing illusion of activity, making it look like someone is always home. This is particularly comforting when I'm away on business trips or even just out for the evening. The setup was straightforward, and the device itself is unobtrusive, blending seamlessly into the background of daily life. What sets it apart is not just its functionality but its psychological impact. There's a comforting reassurance in knowing that my home appears occupied, which dissuades potential intruders and reduces the likelihood of a break-in. This level of security allows me to focus more on my work and less on worrying about the safety of my home. Overall, the Home Shadows Attendance Simulator is a robust tool in any home security setup, combining innovation with simplicity. It's not just a product; it's a guardian, standing watch when I can't. For anyone looking to enhance their home security with a non-invasive and effective solution, I highly recommend this product. It has truly made me feel safer in my home.

Great deterrent for thieves for my vacant houses
This is a very creative product, and exactly what I was looking for for my vacant home. I own rental properties with nice appliances, and they are frequently vacant between tenants. We have had appliances stolen in the past. I was looking for a product that would make it look like someone is home to deter would be thieves. I ordered homeshadows, and it showed up in just a few days. It was easy to set up, and when i contacted the seller with a question, they responded immediately with support. The product works as intended and I am very happy so far. The one thing that I would change is adding an option to have the shadows move around more frequently. I think the current setting would work with professional thieves who take the time to survey a property before breaking in. However, if you are dealing with run of the mill meth addicts, they probably would not be so judicious as to wait. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would buy it again if the new setting was added.

scared myself
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have a crazy neighbor but moved while still owning the first house. For protection I purchased this light in hopes she would believe someone was still in the house. The first night testing it, I set it up in one room and went to another room to view the windows from the outside on the security cameras. the shadow moving was realistic enough to scare me while I watched. I gave myself the heebie-jeebies because it looked like someone was in house.

It's expensive for what it is but it does work well. It creates a random and very realistic movement pattern
