I had 2 stones that my other diamond tester tested as diamond so I purchased and then sent to GIA for testing only to have them sent back as Moissanite. Purchased this and it showed that they were indeed Moissanite. My old tester was purchased new in 2015 but the technology had already advanced in making new types of Moissanite that it was outdated. I am happy with this and hope they will not come out with even more improved Moissanite for many years/

This is a great tester just wish it wasn’t so finicky about the stones having to be 100% clean. The slightest bit of dirt in a setting drops it’s accuracy down to 70%. Which can be annoying especially when your on the road. I have found that loose super clean stone do test positive 95% of the time.

The device i received is not working at all (might be a manufacturers defect), the blue light keeps blinking and never stops but the seller was on time to be honesf.. i’ll return the device and try again maybe?.

This product does not come with batteries OR a power cable! It misidentified everything I tested it on. Not at all worth the expensive price tag. I sent it back the next day.

Did not accurately test very poor product waste of money skip this one.

It’s a highly sensitive instrument and it takes getting used to. At first I was getting simulant or moissanite reading with certified diamonds that are 0.3 carat size on a setting until I adjusted how I held the pen so the probe tip was at a 90 degree angle to the diamond being tested and after a few adjustments I was getting consistent readings to even 0.01carat diamonds on an eternity setting. The Presidium Sam is pricier compared to the Presidium Multi tester III (PMuT III) but if you want to test smaller side stones or the slim eternity Diamond rings the Sam is the tester for you. If you have bigger stones the PMuT III will suffice.
