Not bad at all for less than $12.00 with tax. They are made of good quality materials and have excellent "thick" medium soft padding. So much better then what I had touching my shoulders prior to ordering these pads. I am using these pads on a Military 90 liter backpack and these pads have made a world of difference compared to the stock Military Spec Shoulder Pads that come on all Military Backpacks & Rucksacks. I'd most definitely purchase this again if I need more in the future. All in All a fantastic buy that does what I needed these to do, so they would protect my shoulders under so much "weight." Get you a pair I bet you'll love them as much as I do. Fit could be a little better in my opinion but they do work regardless with a little effort. They need to be made about 1 1/2 inch Winder then the current size. Then they'd fit a military Rucksack & or Backpack with ease.

Okay, the Doc added a pacemaker. I was concerned with the shoulder straps on my backpack putting pressure on the pacemaker and rubbing it while I hiked. So I got a pair of these strap pads. The pair give balance and alignment. But most of all, I can adjust the strap pad over the pacemaker -- because of course the surgeon put the pacemaker directly under where my left strap rides-- and it provides clearance for the pacemaker bump (think speed bump on your chest). This is great. Already tried it with two different day packs and my travel pack. No interference with the pacemaker and the packs even more comfortable than before! Yay!.

These are perfect for my weighted vest! As I carried more weight, the straps really dug in to me. These were easy to attach, fit perfectly, and provide the perfect amount of padding. I highly recommend these!

The item is well made, quality canvas and Velcro closures. It offers lots of grip, the padding is very comfortable. I’m using it on a (very!) old camera bag that doesn’t have a removable strap. It’s a quality bag from a well known high end manufacturer and I expect to get another thirty years from it. This item will certainly help that happen.

Worked great for my girl’s heavy backpack. She’s small and has defined collarbones so a 25 to 30 pound overnight hiking/camping backpack really wears on her shoulders. These helped a lot.

The effectiveness of these pads all depends on the shoulder straps that they are being added to. Once you have put these pads on a strap, you want it to stay in place and not move. When the straps are part of a backpack, they are relatively short in length and there is probably not much room for these pads to move back and forth on the strap. I am using these pads on thin long straps. The problem that I found was that these pads would easily slide over the length of the strap. There was nothing preventing the pad from sliding on the strap and so they would slide. I needed to lock the pad in place on the strap to keep them up around my shoulders. I used 32-inch-long strips of Harbor Freight Velcro to lock the pad into the top of the strap. That way I kept them from moving on the straps. The Velcro readily adheres to these pads and keeps them from moving. Look closely at the three pictures that I have included with these comments. I am giving these pads five stars because they are well made. In working with them, they appear to be very durable and rugged. They should last a long time. I am using them for something other than what they were designed for, so it was up to me to find a solution.

Pretty good product very comfortable for shoulder only con is that it does slide up and down a lot.

They’ll work and are better than nothing.

As expected, these pads helped unload the stress on my shoulders put on by the rather crappy straps my messenger bag came with. Im a uni student and have to walk a lot, and these help immensly. My once overbearing bag carrying what felt like a ton of books and electronics turned into something that was at the back of my mind. Comes with two, so good value for the price.
