fantastic glass files.
I've used these on a good dozen model kits since I've got them and they are fantastic for doing finishing touches on any nub marks or clean up tasks. The price is great for the number of files you get - primarily in different widths and ends to fit multiple needs. They work as intended and file down plastic parts very easily and cleanly. I've been using these for the past few months on multiple kits and they haven't deteriorated at all, do I'm confident in their durability. Just as a note, you can easily clean these - I use some basic soap, water, and a soft toothbrush to clean out any particulates from the sanding surface. This helps to maintain the grit and sanding quality.

Fantastic polishers
I never knew I needed these until I got them in hand. Now, I want more. They are exceptional at smoothing and polishing plastic. I'm using them for 3D printed parts, but as long as you stick to soft materials, they should work no problem. Pro:They come in reusable plastic containers. These are a must as you should never let the polishers hit each other, nor anything hard. The pattern for each grit range is easily identifiable. There is no need to read the label on the smooth side of the polisher to know whichgrit you have in your hand. Cons: The two coarse polishers have a different grit on either end. There is no way that I can see to identify which is which without running your finger other it. There should be an indention or bevel on one end as an identifier. I'm just going to try marking it with a high quality glass pen. Also, the polishers are at their core just special files. This means they need a file card to keep them clean and free of obstructions. The first couple items I tried to polish turned out terrible, as the polisher fouled out and drug a set of deep scratches into the surface. This kit should include an appropriate brush to clean the polishers as they are being used. One other change I would like to see is different patterns for the grits to allow for a better range of material harnesses. In this regards, these polishers are in a very early stage of development. I hope they catch on so we can have more variety. TLDR: I love them and will buy more!

Most important hobby tool in my arsenal
This is exactly what you need for gunpla. If I had to choose one tool I couldn’t live without for gunpla hobby this would be it. They’re strong, easy to use, cheaper than most options out there and get those nub marks off quick. Buy these!

Great but don’t drop
Works perfect love them but only 4 stars because there fragile if dropped once from a short distance they crack. But all in all they clean plastics great.

Very nice glass files. The reflective polish in the product images is no lie.
I wanted to take my Gundam model building to the next level so I thought I'd try Stedi's nippers and glass files. Other brands are the Gunpla community's darlings and charge a little too much for their name, so I thought I'd give this brand a try, seeing as how their prices are so cheap. The files look and feel quality. In their little plastic cases, they are 3.75"x.75", a nice little form factor. I used them so file down the nubs I cut with the single sided nippers and achieved a very smooth reflective finish. It's pretty cool. The plastic dust easily comes out of the grooves of the files for cleaning.

Great starter files
I decided to get into gunpla and thought these glass files would do just fine, and they turned out better than expected! Here's some of my thoughts as a beginner. For the design: I was split between the four and the three pack but decided to get the three pack for the different set of grits. Honestly, I might recommend the four pack for the ease of use on getting the files where you want them but if you do go with the three pack, there's some upsides with the patterns they use on the fine grit in particular. You can really get in there with the corners and ends of the file. The four pack only has the traditional pattern and super fine grit so mileage may vary there as well. Also, I knew they were small, but they were smaller than I thought. At about the width of a sharpie, coupled with the fine grit cross hatch design, they are decent and I look forward to using them again. Some words to other beginners: I was expecting on only using the coarse and super fine grit but I actually rarely used the S.F., the coarse here and there, and used the fine on everything else. If you want a polished shiny look the super fine did a great job but for my use case, the polish made the spot where the nib was too shiny and I'd rather not have random spots stand out. Also at first I was very sheepishly cutting the nibs long and lightly filing them down from coarse to fine/s.f. but by the end I was cutting relatively close and just using the fine to shave off the last bit just to save some time. All of the files did a good job of removing material so don't think to hard about it, just do whatever's comfortable. All in all I expect to get some good mileage out of these little files and recommend them to anyone getting into gunpla. Do I think these are the only files you'll need, for a while yes but I wouldn't knock either getting both sets or trying out other brands to broaden your horizons but for starters, I highly recommend these.

For years, I've used metal files. These are far better and get a much better result, particularly on flat surfaces as the files do not flex. The smoothness achieved is far higher than anything I've used before, you can get a mirror finish, easily.

I use these for gunpla (gundam plastic model) kits and they work very well. Pros: - The two lower grit files (320-400 and 400-600) are the ones i use most often for filing down nubs and excess plastic, doing a much quicker job than sand paper/sponges. - The 10,000 grit file is great for finishing, leaving a nice glossy finish - Good value, if taken care will last longer than sand paper and sponges Caveats >>> not bad hence 5 stars, but limitations and things to know about before hand: - For gunpla, have a small vessel of water to submerge these files in + dry cloth/kitchen roll as these will help prevent mess from sanding down plastics + inhalation - These files sand plastics very fast but due to their size are more adept at working on larger pieces of plastics rather than small intricate pieces, so be wary when working on smaller parts such as the helmet as they will eat into the plastics very quickly and smoothly which may ruin the kit (telling from experience) - In addition to the latter, would recommend buying dspiaes sanding sponge set both low grit (both the 180-800 grit and 1000-2500 grit) for more intricate pieces + working gradually to higher grits will also help the 10k glass file achieve the glossy finish
