Spigen for Pixel 8 Pro Case, Liquid Air (2023) [No Magnet Ring] [Military-Grade Protection] - Matte Black

I used the Spigen Liquid Air case on my Pixel 6a for 3 years. That phone went through several accidental drops, and not once did it suffer any damage. When I upgraded to the Pixel 9a, getting this case again was a no-brainer. The fit is perfect, the grip is great, and it keeps the phone slim while still feeling sturdy. Spigen clearly knows how to strike the right balance between protection and comfort. One small note: after years of use on my 6a, I noticed a faint scuff on the back of the phone that actually mirrored the internal pattern of the case. It looks like fine dust or debris got trapped between the case and the phone over time, acting as an abrasive. It didn’t impact performance, but if you want to avoid cosmetic wear, it’s a good idea to occasionally remove the case and wipe both surfaces clean. Overall, this is a reliable, well-made case that I highly recommend—especially if you plan to keep your phone for a while.

Fits great - easy to put on but feels secure once it is fitted, it doesn't move around at all in the case. The buttons all register great and have a firm click. There is ample room for a charge cord to attach without interference, and I like this particular model's design because the camera glass is fully surrounded by the case material, rather than a rectangular window. Texture - I was uncertain if it would be OK, I feel like there's a sweet spot between being grippy enough that it doesn't slip out of the hand, while also not being too grippy so that it is difficult to pull out of my pocket. It turns out to be pretty much right in that zone, I don't ever find myself thinking about that at all. Protection - I already had a drop when someone bumped it out of my hand from a height of 3 ft directly onto a tile floor. Not a hint of damage to the phone or the case for that matter. Aesthetics - I got the dark blue, and it is about what I expected, nothing different than the picture. I read on the black version some people not liking about finger oil showing, but at least on this color its not noticeable at all.. maybe the edges are bit less matte than the rest, but it isn't an issue.

Fits perfectly, although not sure how much protection it will offer against a bad drop. Would be better if it had internally padded/thickened corners and around the camera bump. Sticks out beyond the display enough to protect against scratches. Just a little slick to me but might get better with wear from a little use. Seems well molded and free of defects, and good quality for the price. I like the minimalist style.

I had basically the same cover for my Pixel 7, and this one feels less "grippy" than the previous one; not quite as comfortable in the hand. But, it does fit snugly.

Quality, simple case for the price. This Spigen Liquid Air phone has a slim profile, good grip and has protected my Pixel 8 Pro from any damage so far. Tasteful design. I like it.

Coque robuste, son état est inchangé depuis le début de son utilisation il y a 4 mois. Elle remplace ma coque rhinoshield s'étant déformée en 6 mois. Le dos peut garder de légères traces de doigt ou un peut de poussière entre les triangles, mais de manière limitée dans les deux cas.

I like these cases. They are simple, robust, easy to grip and do a great job of protecting the phone from drops. They also fit perfectly - great production quality. I started using these covers a couple of phones back and now won't use anything else. They are a bit pricey - but I tend to keep my phones for a long time (typically 5 or 6 years). They easily last that long with virtually no sign of wear - so for me they are very cost affective.

J'ai toujours fait confiance à Spigen pour mes Pixels, et cette coque Liquid Air pour le Pixel 9 ne fait pas exception. L'ajustement est impeccable, tous les boutons répondent super bien et les découpes sont précises (notamment pour le port USB-C et les micros). Elle offre une bonne prise en main grâce à sa texture mate sans ajouter trop de volume. Mon téléphone est bien protégé sans le dénaturer. C'est exactement ce que je cherchais : solide, mais discrète. Un excellent achat !
