Excellent value for a neck hammock
Product arrived quickly and was well packaged. I especially love the little bag that it neatly packs away into, making it very portable. Good accessories with an eye mask and do not disturb sign to hang on a door handle to alert everyone not to open the door whilst you're using the neck hammock. I found it easy to set up and use as it was already assembled and merely needed adjusting to the height required. Seems very well made and sturdy. When using the neck hammock I found it comfortable and quite relaxing, even more so if you put some soothing music on at the same time. It does help to stretch out the neck and shoulders, but as yet hasn't completely got rid of all my neck pain. I'll keep using it though because there has been an improvement. My only recommendation would be for the instructions to tell you how high from the floor it should be and how far away from the door is best for optimum benefit. I know everyone's different but as a starting point I think it would help. Altogether an excellent product for easing tension in the neck and shoulders and would certainly recommend for the price.

BAMOMBY Hammock for neck pain
Although I was initially somewhat sceptical about purchasing this hammock. It’s proved to be a very worthwhile investment. Given that I have had issues with my back and neck. This hammock as played a big part in giving me relief from ongoing problems. Very simple to use and does a great job in relieving tension. I feel much better with using this product

Fiddly to set up, but comfy
Slightly fiddly to set up, the preset lengths being far too long for using around my doors. Had to do a loop and duck tape it together to get the right length. But, once set, it's actually a very nice freeing feeling on my neck. I have a c6/c7 compression fracture, and always have neck tension. Using this does help to momentarily relieve the tension

This is an AMAZING product.
I have quite a degree of degeneration in the vertebrae of my neck and have had disc replacement surgery and nerve blocks in the past. I thought I was on my way to seizing up altogether with sore, tight shoulder muscles and neck muscles that refused to relax no matter what I tried. Enter the Bamomby Neck Hammock - absolute bliss - total relaxation - went off to sleep in in so had to set a timer to make sure I didn't stay in it too long. I've used it twice today and feel so different - no pain on moving my head and so relaxed it's like being on something (!) This is amazing.

Rubbish product
Not that easy to attach to a door. Wouldn’t recommend to others

Doesn't do anything.
Honestly, doesn't do anything for me. It's plenty comfortable, so I guess sort of relaxing. However, it doesn't make me feel any sort of release. I use pressure point massage balls (lacrosse balls or similar) on my back and shoulders, and that has a massive effect every time. Really helps after sitting at a computer all day. This...not so much.

Still surprising even with all the positive reviews
I honestly didn't expect this to work as well as it did. I used it for the first time about 3 hours ago, only laid in it for 10 minutes as a test and it's weird. When you're laying in the thing you don't feel much, it's comfortable but that's about it. Then after about 5 minutes odd you start to get a weird feeling like the pads are moving or bubbling around your neck and ears which I assume is you becoming aware of the blood flow in your head (start to hear your heartbeat as well). Then upon getting out of it... I didn't realise my neck was this bad until sitting here without the tightness and pain. Also word to the wise, whilst the "installation" is relatively hassle free the distances do matter, it needs to be about 6 inches off the floor and should be about 22 inches away from the resting position when your head is in it. Without that distance you won't get any kind of decompression. (EDIT) Okay after 2 weeks of almost daily use along with a massage thing I bought but probably won't be able to recommend in the review of another product, I can say that I have no neck problems at all, it's amazing the difference a little self care can make. 10 to 15 minutes a day in the head hammock, and 15 minutes with the massage thing and neck pain that lasted for years, that had become completely normal to me, is now gone. It's crazy to me that I put up with this as long as I did.

Felt like I was in heaven
I have had neck problems for years after a whiplash injury and found that suspending my head and stretching my neck very similar to a technique used by a physio. So saving on costs thought this might be worth a go. It was easy to put across the door and once I found a suitable place in my house to use it, I was away. It is immensely relaxing and I have had to set a timer for 30 minutes as I found it so soothing, that I went of to sleep quite easily.
