Plug and play. After first start up it relearned the positions automatically
But this for a neighbors truck. He had multiple problems with his 2004 GMC Sierra. Had faults for temp sensor. Faults for the blend doors. The original unit would not even try to activate any of the blend doors. After install of this one, the blend doors started working and the temperature reads correctly.

Like new once in my TrailBlazer.
My temperature knobs we're not working but this unit is great.

JUNK! JUNK! JUNK!
Junk. Worked for all of 5 minutes and then was unable to control anything no fan control, no ac control, no heat control. Will be sending back and buying OEM Parts.

Works!
Better than the other ones. This was my 3rd off brand of this product.the control panel communicates on the serial buss and scan tool. Display is bright.

White leds
Leds are white not yellow or green . Pairs great with newer style knobs -switching fan speed and air modes is a bit mushy but works .

Cheap for a reason
Have hard time switching from cold to hot last one I got broke cause they were so hard to move bought another thinking maybe that had fixed that issue but did not buy with caution they don’t last like OE
