Works great for mounting my tv on our back porch, very sturdy compared to the other ceiling mount I replaced due to the new tv not fitting with prior mount. I would recommend, the wire hiding method is super simple, just be sure to measure your cords to make sure they will reach the connectors on the back of the Tv. Size is perfect, and the mount is very snug.

This had great visual instructions and was easy to install. I had to cut an 8" x 8" 1" board attach to the ceiling stud with the screws that came with it. Then I could mount the base on that since I wanted it to tilt 90 degrees from the way the studs ran. I did not realize that I needed to run my cord through BEFORE I attached the rods together, so I ran it down the outside of the tube and zip tied with black zip ties.

The mount's solid steel construction ensures durability, and it supports up to 110 lbs, making it suitable for a wide range of TVs. Installation was straightforward, thanks to the included hardware and clear instructions. Looks good. Sturdy. Remote stopped working already and app works 1/2 of the time. ** updated review, 9/13** Works less than 25% of the time. Manufacturer refuses to replace remote. Look elsewhere!
