I usually use wire racks and sterno to keep food warm during the holidays. This year I thought I would just buy the warming trays, which are safer and easier to use. It is a one time purchase, instead of buying the foil pans and sterno every year. I hate dealing with dumping out the water of the large foil pans. The size I am reviewing is about 24" x 9". This fits perfectly on the shelf of my bay window. I figure I can fit 2 13"x9" pans, with about 2" over the size of the warming tray. I gave it a 4 only because there isn't any temperature control, so for consumers who want a choice of heat, best to go with a different size. The tray will heat to 200 degrees. This is fine for me, as I want to keep the food very hot. Also, the food will stay warm after you turn the tray off. I do have other larger warming trays that have temperature control. It is a nice feature, but as I said, I want my food hot.

This food warmer is awesome, it gives you a steady heat and I use it often when I make different Chinese dishes for my hubby. I really like the adjustable heat feature. It keeps the food pretty warm to hot. It's super handy at home.

Funciona muy bien. hace lo que promete, mantener calientes los alimentos, una vez cocinados. Mantiene los alimentos a buena temperatura sin secarlos, ni sobrecocinarlos (creo que no llega a yad soledet). Además cumple porque no tiene perilla para regular la temperatura. Me da la impresión que el consumo eléctrico es bajo. Lo recomiendo mucho.
