I’ve had great results using this scorch paste with both silkscreen and mylar stencils. It applies smoothly, doesn’t bleed under the design, and gives a clean, professional finish once heat is applied. Definitely recommend it for anyone doing wood burning or craft projects with detailed stencils. I found no smell with the paste and the paste turns the wood a yellow color, so you know we're you have already added the paste. I've used the same bottle container of paste for the past 6 months. I little goes a very long way.

Such a cool product - I have been able to craft burning wood for several projects.

While this was easy to use and pretty straightforward, it left soot on my wood piece (oak) that smeared when I tried to wipe it off. It is possible that it was user error, and I’ll try again, but I’m disappointed that I’ll have to sand my workpiece again. If I can get it right, it will be a great shortcut!

Great for any project. Easy to use. And a little goes a long way.

Works as expected. Used a heat gun. Careful not to over heat it. When it bubbles you are overdoing it. I used a stencil and a small paint brush to apply to a wood bench. Came out great after a couple tries.
