Tremendous value for your money
Initial review: I just installed this system a few days ago, and wanted to give my fresh impression. Product: the kit has everything that you need to set up a watering system for 20 plants. The hose is a bit stiff, but otherwise I am very satisfied with what you get. Installation: I set up my system for 15 potted plants, and it took several hours. Installation is actually extremely simple - once you get the hang of it, things start to move along quite quickly. Some people reported that leaving the hose in the hot sun makes it more flexible and easier to work with, but I found that I was still able to put everything together by hand on a cold, cloudy day. Programming the timer is also very straightforward. Once it was all set up, I was pleasantly surprised to see everything working exactly as intended - all of my distributers are functioning correctly, dispersing the same rate of water for every pot, and I haven't found any leaks in the system. Value: the price is incredible - I had no idea that I could have an automatic watering system for my garden for only $35. I opted to get a 25psi pressure regulator, as many recommended, so that added an additional $11. Still, the value is amazing. If this system holds up for at least one season, it will have easily paid for itself in the time saved watering my garden, not to mention the improved quality of my plants from more frequent watering.

I have a tale of technological triumph
Ladies and gentlemen, gather 'round, for I have a tale of technological triumph that will surely leave you in stitches and awe. Picture this: a Raindrip R560DP Automatic Drip Irrigation Watering Kit with Timer, a marvel of modern engineering, designed to pamper your plants like royalty. And not just for a brief fling, oh no, but for over a year of daily use! Strap yourselves in as we embark on a comedic journey through the land of automated irrigation. Now, let's be real – this drip irrigation kit isn't just a gadget; it's a plant spa. It's the equivalent of having a personal butler for your begonias. Can't you just see it now? Your little green friends lining up, tiny towels over their leafy shoulders, waiting for their turn under the gentle streams of water. "Oh, Jeeves, please adjust the droplet frequency," they'd exclaim in their best British accents, if plants could talk. But here's the kicker: it's been going on for over a year! That's 365 days of precision watering, 365 days of botanical bliss. You've got to give it up for the Raindrip R560DP – it's outlasted some celebrity marriages, and it's a whole lot cheaper than therapy. But of course, like any good sitcom, there must be some hiccups along the way. Imagine the poor delivery guy seeing your front yard turned into a battlefield of hoses and stakes, the chaos resembling the aftermath of a garden gnome uprising. And who could forget the time the timer decided it was a stand-up comedian, mistaking 3 AM for prime watering time, giving your plants a surprise late-night shower worthy of a slapstick routine. Oh, and let's not neglect the endless source of entertainment this kit provides. Friends and family gathered 'round, placing bets on which plant will get hit square in the leaf, and whether that squirrel that's been eyeing your tomatoes will finally get the soaking it deserves. It's like the botanical version of a reality TV show – and who could have predicted that would involve so much water? In conclusion, the Raindrip R560DP Automatic Drip Irrigation Watering Kit with Timer is not just a gardening tool; it's a comedy goldmine. It's the unsung hero of your backyard, the performer of unintentional slapstick, and the keeper of hydrated horticulture. So, raise your watering cans and give a standing ovation to a year of automated irrigation antics that rival the best of sitcoms. Bravo, Raindrip, bravo!

Amazing Product- Kit Titles are misleading
I’ll start by discussing the Pros is this item. It is easy to set up. Only need scissors to cut the tubing for feeder lines. Took me about 2 hours or so to do 18 pots. I have a larger area. The concept is amazing and the fact that it comes with a timer is a bonus. Cost is about average, compared to similar products. Perfect if all of your pots are about the same size and need about the same amount of water. And it theoretically will save me an hour or more a day of watering as well as countless plants that haven’t survived a weekend trip. It’s nice to know the plants are getting water while I’m gone. Customer sevice was helpful as well Now for the cons: I have a variety sized pots, ranging from small hanging 8” to large 80# pots. In order to get enough water to the large pots, I have to almost flood my smaller pots. Of course, in hindsight, i should’ve considered that to begin with. This particular kit does not have different sized nozzle tips. It only comes with .5 gal/hr tips. On the plus side, i called customer service and they are sending me 10 2 gal/hr tips at no cost. The set up DOES NOT work properly if you remove the tips. Not enough pressure for a larger set up. I tried everything to get around needing different sized end pieces. The connectors for the main line and the feeder lines are plastic, which seems to be of good quality. But, don’t think it’s going to be easy to just simply change a couple connections around. It’s pretty secure. Which could also be a PRO, if you don’t make any errors :-) Consider what you’re application is before purchasing a kit. Just because it says container and pot, doesn’t mean it’s the correct product for optimal use. I should’ve gotten one with different nozzle tips for different gal/hr release. I give four stars because the kit title and images are very misleading. I have about four hours invested in mine so far. That’s including brain storming and trial and error to find a way to make this work for my application.

It was easy to set up and seems to work well. The timer unit seems solid enough and easy to program. I worry about the plastic hose connectors popping off, but so far okay. It is battery powered so no need to have electrical outlet.

Great kit, easy install and works perfectly. I got it for my plants on our rooftop so I don't have to worry when I am away. Local stores wanted about $100 for a similar setup. NOTE: It does not come with a pressure regulator like in one of the photos but I did not need it. Took about 45 minutes to setup on my rooftop to 9 pots. Larger pots plan for 2-3 heads smaller pots like in my photo are great with one dripper. Did not have any problems inserting the dripper heads but I did leave my hose in the sun to soften up. Make sure you place your pots and run your hose your desired route before cutting. The kit comes with 75' of hose and enough heads for 20 smaller planters. They all flow evenly and put out a good amount of water. I would buy this kit again. Instructions were clear and comes with everything you need. Enjoy!

This looks like a great kit. I’m waiting until Spring to set it up in one of my flower beds.
