The oil pot is good Pro- joinless and good steel Cons- both handle are loose and can come out easily in few days of use The last thing is the capacity mentions is 1.2 litre but its good for 1 litre. Definitely go for it for daily oil storage container . It will last you long. One time investment and better than plastic or glass bottles as no tension of oil leaks.

Have ordered the kettle for storing cooking oil, since my grandmother's era we have been using steel kettle for oil and milk in the kitchen. I highly recommend buying Sumeet products, for I have bought them from local shops and also online. The product quality is good you can pick up a vessel and understand the quality basis the density and weight. I will recommend this one.

Product is good but cap is too tight

Pros: The vessel is a single piece construction without joints and the thickness is adequate. The lid closes in on the mouth without leaving any gap, so one doesn't have to worry about insects entering inside. The is easy to open and close the lid, it is neither too tight nor too loose: just perfect. It can hold one liter of content comfortably. Cons: The actual weight inclusive of the lid is only 390 grams instead of 560 grams as advertised. The effective capacity is just over 1000 ml when the lid is closed in, instead of 1250 ml as advertised. Should looks matter for you, the welds for attaching the handles are a too obvious (see pic attached). Also the welds do not appear to be very strong. Since I got it for Rs. 463 during a deal, it seems value for money to me. As I intend to use this a a ghee (clarified butter) pot, the actual capacity would be more than sufficient as most commercial ghee packs retail in 900ml instead of 1 liter packs. However I would have preferred a slightly larger capacity so that I do not have to wait for the pot to empty before replenishing it. Also end of the spoon handle would have stayed clear of the liquid, had the product had more headspace to spare.
