My Arcade Atari GameStation Pro Plug N Play Video Game System 200 Games, Black

I bought this to replace my Atari Flashback 8 Gold edition, which I loved and I was torn in two whether to get rid of it but I am glad I did. It took time for me to get used to the Atari Gamestation Pro but it is worth the effort. First problem was the controllers lack of response but this was down to having a low powered power supply; power supply is not included with this device. Make sure your power supply can give 2A minimum. However, where this Atari shines is the SD card slot! I have loaded all my old Atari ROM's, including Arcade ROM's and it works a treat! Having said that; the games included as standard are also awesome! I discovered some new vector graphics games, which are amazing. ie. Quantum Literally hours of fun here. Get this, you NEED it.

I bought a used one but was in very good condition. I am pleased with it and the ability to add and play games from other systems is a bonus. Though there are limitations to this and I updated to the latest firmware which makes it better and easier. The controller is fairly decent but can be fiddly to use the "B" and "C" buttons resulting in having to hold the stick in a weird way to utilise them. Other controllers can be connected to it such as an Xbox controller but I have not tried this. I would also have preferred if the controllers were rechargeable. These are just small quibbles but overall it is great for Atari games 2600, 5200 and 7800.

Item was advertised as new, but it most definetley was not. I had already read a review to this extent but decided to believe all the positive ones I had read and ordered. The box arrived and all the seals had been opened, the items inside had been used and had slight dirt/scuffs/fingerprints on them, the instruction booklet was very well thumbed, and all the leads had been untied as their cabletie was present but not near any cables. Massive shame as I really looked forwards to giving this to ym brother as a birthday present!

It does Atari Games without problems, also allows loading Games to an SD Card, and can run other systems, Some of the other system don't work to good, with either slow downs, sound issues due to running to slow or Gamepad Button mapping issues. If you buy it just for the 200 Games (Not all are Atari Games) then it's still a good buy if you can get it for under £100. The Controllers that come with it work well for me and found no latency issues when using them wirelessly, but i do use them mostly plug in via USB Cable as to save wasting Battery's. All round it's a good Emulator Console for Atari and optional bonus of running other systems from an SD Card, The only problem is you don't get a Power Pack so you need to find a Power Pack/Charger that is 5V 2a (amps) and not a fast charger.

The main selling point of this machine is the SD card slot which you can use to sideload additional Atari 2600,5200 and 7800 roms not included on the machine. The machine itself is well built, stylish and controllers are really nice for the Atari stuff. You can also use Xbox controllers with this but wired and beneath the system you can also sideload Gameboy Advance, Megadrive, Nes and PC Engine games off an SD card. You can set up the folders on a PC when preparing the SD card. Really recommend this system and the emulation is top notch.

I am a big fan of old school Atari games. I already had a 2600+ and a 400 Mini, but the Gamestation caught my interest because it also has over three-dozen Atari arcade games included. I was a bit leery because the included controllers look rather clunky and awkward. I received mine, fired it up, and immediately played several games, including Asteroids, Sky Raiders, and I, Robot. I also tried out some 5200, 7800, and 2600 games. The controllers actually work reasonably well. I thought I noticed a slight bit of lag, so I picked up a USB-C to USB-C cable to connect the controller directly to the console. The emulation is quite decent, and I am pleased with the GSP. I did spend some time downloading and installing the 1.3 firmware update. It requires a Windows PC and perhaps a bit of tech savvy. Once this is installed, there are some improvements, and it's worth doing. I have also side-loaded a number of 2600, 5200, 7800, and arcade games, and most (about 95%) run well. Overall, it is a real treat for Atari fans.

Witam, kupiłem i oddaję. Opóźnienia kontrolerów nie są dla mnie do zaakceptowania.Nastawiłem się głównie na ponga i te pokrętła na joysticku....Opóźnienia i nierówne przemieszczanie "paletek" po ekranie wygląda jak na starej konsoli pong z zaśniedziałymi potencjometrami (osoby, które się wychowały na poczciwym pongu Elwro, wiedzą o co chodzi)

Heb hem een paar dagen geprobeerd, werkt prima ook de joysticks , paddel werkt bij mij ook perfect. De ingebouwde games zijn ook heel goed te spelen. De paddel op de joystick is heel gevoelig wat ik wel fijn vind spelen. Geen spijt is gewoon weer een super product.
