This book is excellent HOWEVER pages 53 and 54 from Program one are missing.

This book looked good but I hesitated because of the price and the number of pages. 'Free Returns' had me confident that if it was bad, I'd send it back so I gave it a try. It's a beautiful book, functional with it's hard cover and spiral binding. I was surprised that all the introductory text is informative and motivational! Usually with exercise books I skip/skim the intro. It's well worth the read. The exercises are clearly pictured and described. There are short-cut lists of routines that give page numbers to the full descriptions. One page number is wrong (typo) on page 90, American Swings are actually on page 108, not 104 as printed. I do think it is well-worth 5 stars, but tabs to the sections would have been helpful. I've made my own for quick reference though. If you're a beginner or intermediate exerciser looking for a good light-weights workout book, this is a winner. It will stay in my library for decades to come.

Excellent book. Although it has a lot of writing at the beginning, it has plenty of pictures to depict how each movement is done. The only problem is what to do after the 4 weeks are done.

I have a small set of dumbbells at home but all the choices on YouTube/TikTok are overwhelming. I needed a quick program to guide me from day to day. I’m post-menopausal and have had some health issues the past few years, so I was looking for a simple, straightforward weight program I could do at home with minimal investment. I like the way I can keep track of my progress, and if a movement isn’t clear, I can always look it up online. The weight workouts are about 20-30 minutes and there’s enough variety to keep it interesting and to keep building strength. If any of this describes what you’re looking for, I’d recommend this resource.

This is a great book! I figured I'd be returning it because the exercises would be too easy and the weights too light. Wrong! It was a Friday so I started with Friday's workout (whole body & core). Even though I exercise regularly these exercises kicked my butt. Not quite sure why but I definitely felt these. Maybe it's the sequencing or the combination of exercises. Whatever it is I plan to stay with the whole program.
