Worked flawlessly, good to have in the toolbox
Had to replace the diverter motor on our dishwasher, which had the crimp-style clamps. These pliers worked flawlessly to remove the old clamps and install new ones. Wish I would have bought them before I replaced the CV joint on my Jeep’s driveshaft, could have saved a lot of time and hassle fighting with the boot clamp on it…

Works well for the price.
Obviously these are not top quality tools made for a shop, but they are great for the home mechanic that needs to re-band a CV joint. The ear clap is a little finicky but if you take your time it works. The banding clamp also works after a little practice.

Handle fell off
Worked and easy to use but the handle pulled off the 1st time I used it. Tried to glue it but it didn't hold. Either just be careful while using it or I try and get a better 1. Would have given 5 stars if the handle did not fall off.

CV Joint Ear Clamp Banding Tool
These tools arrived within 2 days and without these devices I would not have been able to perform the final steps on installing my CV Joint Boot without these tools. They are well constructed and easy to learn. I checked with local auto stores in WA and none of them had the style that could handle the straight banding strap. Very happy with the product!

Worked great for both band type and ear type clamps. Must have to do these right.
