I recently picked up the Fogilas 12 Pcs Morgan Dollar Magic Set, and I have to say, I’m really impressed with what it offers. As someone who practices coin magic regularly, I appreciate well-made props, and these coins deliver in several key areas. Pros: ✅ Good Size and Realistic Design – At 3.8 cm in diameter, these coins are a great size for palming, vanishes, and other sleight-of-hand techniques. They also have a nice, detailed design reminiscent of classic Morgan Dollars, which makes them look authentic on stage or in close-up performances. ✅ Magnetically Attractable – One of the standout features of this set is that the coins can be attracted by magnets. This opens up a variety of unique magic effects, including coin appearances, disappearances, and transformations using magnetic gimmicks or holdouts. ✅ Nice Weight and Handling – The coins have a comfortable weight—not too light, not too heavy—which makes them easy to manipulate for routines involving multiple coins, such as matrix tricks or coin through table effects. ✅ Great Value (12 Coins in a Set!) – Many coin magic sets only include a few coins, so getting a pack of 12 is a huge plus. This allows for extended practice sessions without worrying about losing a coin or wearing them out too quickly. Cons: ❌ Not Real Silver Coins – These are imitation Morgan Dollars, so if you’re looking for the feel and appearance of real silver coins, you may need to look elsewhere. However, for magic purposes, they work perfectly. ❌ Edges Could Be More Defined – While the coins handle well, some might find the edges a bit smoother than real Morgan Dollars, which could affect grip for certain tricks like edge grip or back palming. Who Should Buy These? If you’re a magician—whether a beginner or experienced performer—this set is an excellent addition to your magic toolkit. The magnet-compatible feature makes them especially valuable for those who use gimmicked magic props. They’re also great for practicing sleight of hand without risking damage to real collectible coins. Final Verdict: For the price, the Fogilas 12 Pcs Morgan Dollar Magic Set is a fantastic choice for magicians who need durable, versatile, and well-designed coins. While they aren’t real silver, they handle smoothly and open up many possibilities for coin magic routines. Highly recommended!

These coins are a pretty good marathon of the real vintage coins. They have been "aged" to appear slightly tarnished the way real silver coins would be that are regularly handled. True to the description, they have steel cores and are attracted to magnets which makes certain things possible. My only real complaint is that many (I'd say) of the coins have a sharpish edge on one side. I don't imagine these were made the way a steel cored center of a REAL coin would be (if you know, you know) since that would be a lot of extra work for something they could control from the start but it would explain that one edge. Due to that, I'd be leery of trying to use these in closeup. While the edge thing I'm talking about isn't visible and isn't painfully sharp, you'd never be able to let an audience member handle these because they'd feel it pretty quickly and it just doesn't line up with the smoothness of the edges of real US coins or how a coin worn down from being over a century old would feel. For all that said, at a dozen for less than a dollar each, I'd still consider this a pretty good deal, especially for stage work or as practice coins. There is no trick or instructions for any kind of routine provided with these. They're meant for people who already know what it is they want them for.

These are GORGEOUS!!! Looking at them, you would never guess they're not real and I am very very impressed with them. I've done magic for a long time, but am new to coin magic. What a great start these are! I got my first set for free through the Vine program, but they were so amazing I immediately turned around and ordered another set! I can't give it a higher review than that! It's like a shopping ovation! I showed them to the professional coin magicians I am lucky enough to hang out with and they were also super impressed. These are fantastic for coin magic, even for a beginner like me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

These things are awesome! Have atleast 2 on me all the time! Super light and perfect for a good muscle pass since they're way lighter than an authentic Morgan dollar.

These coins are beautiful! A wonderful recreation of the authentic ones from the 1880s, with a nice aged patina. I do an "19th-Century Gambler" magic act, and these are perfect props for coin tricks. In addition, the delivery was EXTREMELY fast. I had them being worked into my show in less than three days. A+++!!
