3 great features: 1) Pressure shutoff switch 2) Inflator bypass valve 3) Deflator tool
The compressor shuts off automatically if the pressure in the hose gets above 160psi. There are many videos online of users upgrading similar compressors by adding such a pressure shutoff switch. I like that this compressor already has one built in. Ironically, I actually don't often utilize the automatic shutoff because of the 2nd great feature: the bypass valve built into the inflator gauge attachment. My process: 1. Attach the inflator gauge to the valve stem. 2. Fill the tire to an actively-inflating pressure (higher than actual static pressure) that I know from experience results in an actual static pressure roughly equal to my target pressure. 3. Open the bypass to shunt the airflow. (The pumped air flows out of the base of the inflator gauge attachment instead of into the tire.) 4. Read the actual static pressure shown on the inflator gauge. 5. If too low, close the bypass and inflate some more. 6. If too high, use the deflate button. 7. Detach the inflator gauge from the valve stem. 8. Move to next tire. Repeat. No need to run back and turn off the compressor to determine actual static pressure. No need to remove the inflator gauge and test actual static pressure with a second gauge. The compressor simply keeps running all the time, even while switching between tires. No need to stop and start the compressor. A third great feature is using the inflator gauge as a standalone deflator tool. I attach it to a valve stem, open the bypass valve to bulk-release air, close the bypass valve to check psi, then use the deflate button to fine tune the last bit of deflation down to my target pressure. All of the above is more efficient with a clip-on chuck. AstroAI should include a clip-on chuck in addition to the screw-on chuck.

Absolute Quality and Speed
This thing works so well and is made so solid that I am tempted to order another one just to have another experience as satisfying as this one was. I have used it multiple times on 100psi tires and the only warning I have is to keep an close eye on it. It is so much faster than anything I have used that I over inflated two of my rv tires. If you need something to rely on in the dark on the side of the road this is it. This kit has all of the gadgets and components that you could need for tire inflation. And all in a nice canvas case to keep it organized. My tires are 100 psi and it fills faster than most commercial air compressors. I highly recommend this unit if you need a mobile solution.

18psi to 36 psi in under 2 minutes!
This thing pumps up my 33x11s from 18 psi to 36 psi in under 2 minutes. I love this compressor! Sturdy built. Gauge works great. Hose attachment gets warm after a couple tires but they all do that. Highly recommend!

Great pump that's a real time saver
This thing is awesome! Goes from 9lb to 36 in maybe 90 sec-2minutes. Very efficient! Easy to use. Only complaint is the plastic covers on the clips won't stay put. And the alligator clips themselves could be bigger for easier attaching. But overall, well worth the money. Saves so much time over smaller/cheaper pumps (I bought one of those first and wish I'd just started with this one).

Could Not Use on RV Tires. No Solution.
We purchased the AstroAI T6 Offroad Portable Air Compressor on Prime Day with high hopes of using it to maintain tire inflation pressure on our Class A RV. The unit arrived very quickly, and then things started to unravel. The supplied tire air chuck threads onto the Schrader valve stem on each tire, except two: One rear tire had the first two threads on the valve stem stripped, and the chrome wheel cover on a front wheel interfered with the supplied straight air chuck. I needed a push-on-angled open-flow chuck or a push-on open-flow ball chuck for that tire, and it could be used on all of the tires. Air would also leak when unscrewing the air chuck from the Schrader valve stem, which is why service stations use push-on chucks. Over the next week, I spent about $50 and many hours searching for an air chuck that would thread onto the hose connector of the supplied CTRL AIR gauge. The brass connector is supposed to be a 1/4” NPT thread—It is not! A standard NPT ball or angled chuck threads onto the connector but can’t be tightened. The threading appears to be 18-threads per inch BSPP with a shallow depth. A sealing washer would still be needed. The search for an adapter to go from BSPP to NPT with a guaranteed fit failed. It was going to cost an additional $30 or more in trial-and-error purchases and shipping for a workable adapter if there was one. I contacted AstroAI tech support twice and struck out. At this point, it was game over. We returned the AstroAI T6 compressor because it couldn’t be used with the CTRL AIR gauge. Incidentally, the Prime Day price was only $8 less than the current price on Amazon. Initially, I was going to give the product five stars. Now, I am giving it one star. We will purchase a usable air compressor from another manufacturer. Amazon also changed its returns process. We were unable to return the compressor to our local Kohls and had to go to a UPS Store, where we were told by a smiling clerk that it had to go to a Whole Foods market. We had to fight the traffic on California 57 to go 11 miles each way to a Whole Foods market, only to learn the UPS Store screwed up, and it should have gone there. Amazon is treading on thin ice.
