It arrived meticulously packaged, and assembly was a breeze, although I must mention that the item is quite heavy and requires flipping over during certain points of assembly. The finished product is a maneuverable, minimal, and perfectly sized cabinet that elevates the functionality of any home office or co-working space. The drawers glide effortllessly, thanks to their buttery smoothness and soft-close feature. The color is an off-white shade, almost a very light warm grey. It's a good cabinet. Build quality is tolerable, but there were a few bumps on the back/bottom from where parts where mounted during assembly. Cosmetic only issues though. The lock is not ultra secure but it is functional and the key does work smoothly. The casters work fine but they are hard plastic so be careful if you have hardwood floors. It's good but not spectacular.

I’ve had this file cabinet for almost 4 years and it’s moved with me 3 times and it’s still in great shape. It’s heavy and well made and still looks brand new. The last movers were not careful with it but it doesn’t show any dings or scrapes and still works great. Unfortunately my last movers lost the metal rail that holds the files up and the unique size of the cabinet made it hard to find a replacement. I was worried I’d have to get a whole new cabinet or just live without it and always have my files in a mess but in a last ditch effort I decided to reach out to the company directly on the off chance they sold replacement parts. I reached out via the contact form on their website and to my surprise they were actually able to replace the part. The customer service rep I worked with was super helpful and even though they don’t sell replacement parts specifically they really kindly were willing to send me the replacement part for free, I just had to pay for shipping. The part came direct from china so it was $25 in shipping which isn’t cheap but way less than buying a new file cabinet and I felt it was worth it. I would definitely recommend this product and the company.

Great compact file cabinet. I like the idea of having the extra wheel under the last drawer but sometimes it gets stuck, just a little bit, on my tile floor's grout. I think if the wheel was a little bit wider it wouldn't do that as much, if at all. The DEVAISE 3-Drawer Slim Vertical File Cabinet is not situated like the old regular ones where your files are facing the door of the cabinet, they face toward the side of the cabinet so it is much easier to view my folders and files while I am at my desk. I really do like that design. I have it under my sit/stand desk and it is so compact that it does not take up much space, another thing I like about the design. It seems pretty sturdy, came assembled and just had to put the wheels on, so very easy, and it was a great buy! If you think because it's slim that it does not store a lot, you would be wrong! It has tons of storage and file space!

Very good quality and easy to just attach the wheels and ready to use. The stabilizing wheel in front of bottom drawer a great idea. Seems very sturdy and hope to get many years of use.

Based on other reviews I went with this slim file cabinet for my home office. It was aesthetically pleasing and liked the slim dimensions. I was also looking at the Laura Davidson slim as well - loved the fun colors but couldn’t juts fit the price tag of that one. The file cabinet i recd was packed meticulously, so no issues. I was also pleased the metal felt sturdy and thick. It’s pretty heavy. Where I was disappointed was the drawers aren’t as smooth and easy to open as I’d like. I’m also in need of a modification. It sits so low to the ground I can’t open the file drawer becuase of rug I have. Kinda wish I spent more for better quality. Oh well. Still better than what you see at the office stores.

This was a good Cyber Monday purchase. I have a 33 x 60" trestle-type desk with one keyboard drawer and one narrow (14" wide ) storage drawer. The open area under the desk is 57" wide. This small unit fits neatly under the desktop. Exterior dimensions (as measured on a wood floor): 11 7/8" W x 17 3/4" D x 23" Tall (including casters) It provides me the utility of a narrow-profile filing cabinet without sacrificing legroom. The compact design provides the added storage I want without being obtrusive. The unit arrived undamaged, thanks to the packaging: heavy duty box; cabinet fully wrapped in a plastic bag; all surfaces protected with 7/8" thick fitted styrofoam; all eight corners of the styrofoam additionally protected with heavy-duty plastic corner-protectors.

Nice little filing cabinet! I appreciate the smaller drawers on top for envelopes and cards. Seems sturdy. I really like the rounded corners. The only install was putting on the wheels.

It was a nice cabinet, but unfortunately the drawers were broken, it seems the cabinet was squeezed on the top. Very poor packaging, not enough safe

Bought two and one came in dented. Other than that they’re really a great size for a small space
